I booked the Delux manor room (£250+) for my mum's 70th birthday but it was terrible.
Coffee machine was dirty, kettle was not clean and was too small, mould around the window, mould and damp marks on the ceiling in the room and in the bathroom.
Tom was accommodating on the phone prior to staying, restaurant staff were very slow serving but were friendly and James (duty manager) promised a full refund after my complaint about the mould and the fact it caused my asthma to flare up causing me to take my reliever through the night and the week after the stay.. 2 weeks later I still have had no refund and will escalate it further as selling a room in that condition is unacceptable to customers health. Photos to prove all of the above. Price does not include swimming pool use unlike other hotels. A very disappointing stay all round.
