Nice motel-hotel in Shawinigan which had very good prices. Owner-operator family were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were extremely clean. The hotel is 'old' but it has been very renovated inside to modern standards. Would stay here anytime again in the area. In the heart of the good part of Shawinigan/water front area and not far from the national park.

Although the building is likely ~50 years old, the interior has been comprehensively, tastefully, and well renovated with enlarged modern rooms and bathrooms. It appeared to be quite busy while we were there, but it was very quiet in the room. Given the proximity to La Mauricie and the highway to Saguenay, as well as the charm of the Grand-Mere district of Shawinigan, it is a good choice.
