This is the 5th time we came to Taupo for the Marathon run and have always stayed in the Hilton slightly further away from town centre. This time we thought we will stay closer to town and eMotel did not disappoint. Location was very convenient and the room itself is clean and modern, parking is right outside the room. The owner Michelle was very friendly and helpful!

The accommodation was clean, fresh and bright. While all very comfortable the huge king(?) sized bed made it impossible to fit two suitcases into the bedroom. One other problem with the motel was its proximity to an overnight truck parking area. This led to disturbed sleep with over seven trucks noisily starting up between 4am - 6am.

Fantastic Heaps of great features like the numerous USB ports and the funky chairs and lights. It was also wonderful having the washer dryer and a dishwasher. Comfortable beds. Our room was clean and comfortable, we couldn't fault it. We stayed for 3 nighrs and could have stayed longer without issue. Sisi was very helpful and friendly. In this price range it would be hard to beat. Close to city centre and the lake. We would recommend any length of stay here.
