Il nostro soggiorno e stato caratterizzato da un serio problema di rumore notturno derivante dal vano tecnico su cui la camera (nr 109) si affacciava. Praticamente non siamo riusciti a dormire se non per brevi tratti. Dovrei dire che a parte questo il resto é stato nella norma di un 4 stelle. Ma questo problema ha veramente rovinato il weekend. E penso sia lo stesso per tutte le camere che si affacciano sul medesimo lato. Oltretutto problema non risolvibile visto che si tratta di impianto tecnico di tutto l'hotel.

Overlooking the Grand Canal

This was my second time staying here. I chose the suite that overlooks the Grand Canal. I was not disappointed! The room is amazing! It is extremely large with a massive Venetian Chandelier hanging over the bed. The doors opened to a very tiny balcony on the grand canal. This hotel offers great breakfast and it located directly on a vaparetto stop. Its location is fantastic! I will forever stay at this hotel in Venice!

Disappointed with this hotel. This is a mixed review. I was excited upon arrival because they checked us in earlier than check in time which is unusual given the location…As we entered the room the first thing I wanted to see was the scenery… here began my worry… they gave us a room with a view of the garbage storage area. I paid for a premium room… then when we turned on the water in the bathroom pure dirt and black water came out for about 10 minutes. When we went to the front desk the young lady advised us that the hotel was closed for three days because they fixed a major plumbing issue. We never received notification of this when we booked nor upon our arrival. She made it seem as if it was nothing and that it would clear up. No offer to change our room, then caught an attitude because I explained to her that I did not feel comfortable using the water. We used bottled water to brush our teeth. Next morning we decide to go downstairs and enjoy breakfast before starting our day. We wear our nice pajamas that look more like loungers and the waitress gave us the dirtiest look, asked for our room number and didn’t offer us coffee nor water as she was doing with others. Felt very unwelcomed. Next day she was the same despite having full attire. I guess she didn’t think we belonged. The hotel is kind of nice the bed is comfy but overall the service is not good and the fact that they didn’t care about the water issue was upsetting and concerning…

Hard to recommend

I'm a positive person who stays in hotels a good 25-30 nights a year, and I very rarely post negative reviews. However, this place was simply not a 4-star experience. Although the location is very good and the building itself is beautiful, there were simply too many things that were not up to standard in this category. My room had a moldy smell and the toilet didn't flush (then they fixed it, then it wouldn't stop flushing, then they fixed it again... that sort of thing). WIFI coverage was terrible, and the room had only one electrical outlet, placed nowhere near a table or other flat surface. The TV couldn't change channels - the remote was broken, it seemed. The hotel has no coffee- or tea-making facilities for guests, and there's not even a bottle of water in the room. When you ask for one, they charge it to your room. Several staff members were patronizing to me when I asked them simple practical questions, and I just generally felt unwelcome there. Especially the person in charge of the breakfast was unfriendly, upholding some petty unhospitable rule about "only one cup of coffee per person". Not a place I enjoyed. I can't recommend it..
