The host was very helpful pleasant and welcoming. The whole house was beautiful great care had been taken to furnish snd decorate in art deco style. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty nice local produce. Our friends joined us for a game if pool in the library before we went out. Fantastic place

Perfect

Roger and Kate were great hosts, very welcoming and on arrival given tea and homemade carrot cake whilst sitting in the garden. Beautiful hotel and bedroom with roll top bath, great breakfast and very knowledgeable and helpful on where was good to visit for the day. Would recommend and stay there again.

Perfect place to stay when exploring mid Wales

Couldn't fault our stay. Everything was amazing from the Arts & Crafts features in a lovely house, our comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean room. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and there was a huge choice for the lovely breakfast which we could sit and eat at our leisure looking over fields of sheep.

quiet, peaceful and comfortable stay

The hotel was wonderful. A warm welcome from the owners and tea and cake. The most comfortable bed we have ever had and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was great too. Nothing negative about the hotel at all.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic stay at Ardwyn. Roger was a lovely host, welcomed us with tea and cake, which was much appreciated after our huge cycle to get there. The bed was like a cloud and the roll top bath was the icing on the cake! We opted for the cooked breakfast in the morning which was generous and delicious too, we will definitely be back.

We booked this hotel needing some well deserved rest and respite and we had an amazing long weekend of just that. We had a lovely warm welcome and we really well looked after from start to finish. It's a fantastic little gem and one we thoroughly recommend!

Beautifully decorated b and b. Bed and bathroom perfect. Lovely breakfast and we were welcomed with tea and cake. We were cycling and there was a place to store the bikes. Really great hosts. Hope to be back to stay longer . Thanks

Sehr herziges, familiäres Guesthouse mit einem sehr, sehr netten und engagierten Besitzer. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt und kommt sich ein bisschen vor wie in einem Museum. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, mit schöner Aussicht, einem bequemen Bett, Tee/Kaffee usw und die Regenwalddusche funktionierte einwandfrei (nicht selbstverständlich in der UK). Alles war sehr sauber. Das Haus ist inmitten einer idyllischen Walisischen Landschaft in einem kleinen Ort eingebettet. Alle Menschen dort sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück wird vom Besitzer frisch zubereitet und man hat eine sehr grosse Auswahl an warmen Speisen (Roger macht das perfekte Spiegelei und das warme Frühstück war superlecker). Am Buffet hat es zudem noch eine gute Auswahl an Cerealien, Müesli, Früchten und Yoghurt. Zum Haus gehört ein herziges Entenpaar. Es hat genügend Parkplätze neben dem Haus. Wir werden dieses sehr herzige Guesthouse sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

We had a great stay in this lovely area. The hotel building is full of character and the owners were so welcoming, we chatted about all sorts of topics over several cups of tea and some cake. Catering to a vegan diet was appreciated and we felt more like we were visiting friends than staying in a typical hotel. The games room was also great fun and nice to have use of to play some pool, before retiring to our comfy bedroom.
