What’s good - staff is friendly. Pool and bar onsite. Relatively cheap What’s bad - rundown condition, not near other gay spots, the electricity went out one time, the food is limited, my fan was broke and no AC, the sheets felt dirty the first night, there was leaking from rain outside

The staff are incredibly friendly, and we met some nice folks staying there. The pool area and bar are lovely. Our room smelled moldy and was very outdated. We stood in 3” of water every time we showered, since it didn’t drain properly. The owner was not very nice and the place needs a severe upgrading. We would not stay there again.

Dont waste $ here

Dont waste your money. Location- very deserted area, at night time felt unsafe to walk alone. Property- Pool area was very pretty. Bar area was clean. Room -Outdated rooms, terrible bathroom, rusted shower heads, lack of basic toiletries. Lighting in the room felt like we are in office. Restaurants- Nearby we found nice Italian restaurant , where food was delicious and owner was adorable. Staff- Staff was very helpful and sweet to attend needs.

I know times are hard, but a little TLC would go a long way as this place is dated! Horrible bright white bulbs (when some aren’t missing), broken lamps, Shower Gel holder empty, no toilet paper. Staff didn’t speak any English (and asked me to pay although I had paid through Expedia already), which is fine if you provide some information in English on a card or something. Wasn’t given the Wi-Fi password or any other information

The staff at Colours Oasis are really nice and helpful. highly recommend the classic Costa Rican breakfast and lunches. Plenty of maps and tour options are available for booking at the front desk. Pharmacy and convenience stores are close by for anything you might need.

We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were excellent. The room was a little basic, but I got the impression that the place was constantly improving at the time we were there. I would recommend to anyone wanting a chilled experience with a pool and bar.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the minute i arrived (early check-in, as i was travelling from the South)The bartender/mixologist,Riccardo, was fab at his job,the chef,Carlos cooked the best food I've tasted in a long time(would put some of the chefs I've worked with in London to shame,and the gorgeous Christian made my stay very special. Stay Away - totally gross!

I would never recommend this place. It is disgusting. From the food to the rooms, it should be shut down. I assume Costa Rica doesn’t have a health department that monitors such propertiee. There was a dog walking in the kitchen while cooking and inside the bar. The bartenders would put the dog and then serve food and drinks. I can not tell you enough to stay away from this gross establishment.

The name isn’t what it suggests. It’s very seedy. Sheets weren’t clean, significant mould on the shower head. The people running the place were lovely and helpful, but for what you’re paying there’s loads of other places to go It’s a party place, not a put your head down and sleep place. Pretty poor honestly, wouldn’t recommend

Katastrophe

Was für eine Katastrophe! Gebuchtes Apartment war für die erste Nacht nicht verfügbar, ein kleines Zimmer bekommen ohne Fenster, dafür Frühstück gratis. Im Bad lauerte eine dicke Kakerlake in der Dusche auf uns. Am nächsten Tag das gebuchte größere Zimmer bekommen, da brach sofort das Bett ohne großes Zutun zusammen. Immerhin wurde es zusammengenagelt und hielt die zwei restlichen Nächte. Auch dort Kakerlake im Badezimmer. Vom Nebenraum kam dort Zigarettengeruch rein. Parken nur auf der Straße verfügbar.
