It is a quaint old fashioned type motel-the rooms are clean, beds comfortable. It’s nothing fancy but is a perfect place to lay your head while in the area. I’d definitely stay here again. The cleanliness really impressed me.

This is an old school one story motor in on the CT river. My son and I stayed for an event at Dartmouth and loved it. All the people who work there are so so kind and I felt like I went back in time. We drove by some nearby chain hotels and were so glad we were staying at the Sunset.

In truth, it's an older property without a ton of bells and whistles but it was well maintained and clean. The beds were comfy, and the shower was hot. The views? Impeccable. They upgraded my room from the small window view of the lake to the 4 separate units that had a wonderful view of the lake Staff was very kind and accommodating to my needs Even though the weather was rainy still had a warm cozy amenity filled room Nice pictures on the walls and the bed was super comfy and very quiet surroundings Could even see different variety of bird outside the window It definitely exceeded my expectations and would stay there agsin They even had a continental breakfast set up with waffle maker and syrup 2 thumbs up
