Um ótimo espaço, com localização excelente, equipe bem preparada, café da manhã satisfatório, cama e quartos excelentes. Ponto alto: piscina no terraço!! Uma delícia demais! As amenidades são uma delícia.

The good - friendly staff that is overall professional and helpful. Excellent location in historic center of walled city. Very clean. Responsive to requests. The bad - the room was advertised with a king sized bed with a tv’s with satellite channels. The bed was queen sized and neither tv had satellite channels (no cable), only access to apps (line Netflix, etc). The phones in the room never worked despite me informing staff several times (they tried to fix but could not). The only streaming app that app that worked was Netflix (other apps like Max and Apple TV stopped working after the first day), I reported this but they only fixed Netflix (which stopped working after the first day) and not the other apps. Another issue was the transportation from the airport to the hotel was 150,000 Colombian pesos. I assumed this was the going rate that taxis charged. When I got to Cartagena, all the taxis confirmed they only charged 22,000 Colombian pesos to the historic center per Colombian law. The hotel’s transportation was just a regular car, maybe not considered a taxi, but a similar type of small car with no extra amenities, effectively the same as a taxi. So to be overcharged in this way was not a good first impression. More good - the pools are beautiful and clean. The breakfast was good although arrived late each day.

I was very impressed with this boutique hotel in the historic district in the walled city. My room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Benjamin at the front desk, as well as the rest of the staff, did a great job making my stay pleasant and unforgettable. I hope to travel to Cartagena again and will definitely stay at Casa Claver.

We had a lovely stay in Casa Claver. Benjamin and the other guy at the reception were super helpful and help find us a doctor for our son who was sick. The room was very big and the rooftop pool was really pleasant, with a wonderful view on San Claver’s domes.

We had the most amazing stay in Cartagena! The location is simply unbeatable—everything we wanted to explore was just a short walk away, allowing us to soak in the beauty and charm of the city effortlessly. What made our experience truly unforgettable was how the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration so special. We were surprised with a beautifully decorated room, complete with romantic touches that made our hearts melt. The attention to detail was incredible, and it’s clear the team genuinely cares about creating magical moments for their guests. The staff, without exception, were some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever encountered. They were always available with warm smiles, ready to assist with anything we needed, from recommendations to making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. We left with so many wonderful memories and can’t recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking for an exceptional experience in Cartagena. Truly, they exceeded all our expectations!

Such a wonderful hidden gem right around the corner to all the top bars, restaurants and sites in the walled city. According to the front desk, the casa used to be the US Embassy. The hotel has only a few apartments. Our room included a living room, two full baths, laundry room, and a bedroom with a view of the beautiful courtyard. Benjamin at the front desk provided great recommendations and also arranged for transportation. The terrace has a pool and beautifully decorated with amazing views of the walled city and ocean. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was exceptional. From walking in the door with the amazing staff (namely James and Benjamin) that helped my best friend and I get settled perfectly. To the everyday cleanliness and spacious beautiful rooms. I will forever book with this boutique hotel when traveling to Cartagena. Great stay. Nice clean room with great air conditioning and a great private feeling balcony. The pool area well maintained and was a great break from the heat. Solid breakfast included and was dropped off at the room in the morning. Had no problem checking out at 630am to get to early flight and when we discovered the city was closed to cars for a race, Benjamin at the front desk helped us bring our bags about 0.5km to get out of the walled area. Highly recommend.

This property was a dream from day one until we left! Starting with Benjamin at the reception and the ladies that worked the kitchen, it felt like we were staying with family! The location of the hotel is superb, a walk from everywhere. The roof top pool and the views were excellent. We travel a lot & our main complain are the mattresses & pillows, but not here, best night sleep outside our home. Already planning our next stay at Casa Claver!

James and Benjamin took great care of our family. Casa Claver is in a great location with lots to do. There are 2 pools and the rooftop one offers amazing views of the city. The beds are so comfortable! We’ll be back!
