Below Margaritaville standards!

Our TV didnt work in the room, the ac in the room would not cool to desired temp,, we werent made aware of the sarrgassum until after the room that was non refundable was booked.The food was cold at the coffee shop and the service at the main restaurant was poor. After calling about the AC twice, there was no attempt to repair it.

The smell of the seaweed was so horrible almost unbearable around the resort. You need a golf cart bellman to get around because of the hills and it a very long and hilly walk but you are waiting 15-20 mins every time to get any where around the resort. The food at the margarita villa restaurant was horrible and super over priced, I almost starved until I found the sandwich shop which was that best meal I had since being there. The TV did not work my entire stay but was told that the cable is down and they are working on it. I was told by the desk person during check in that the hill top pool was for adults only FALSE it was full of children. The seaweed smell was so pungent at the main pool. Overall i give this resort 2 stars. I would not book again,

The hotel was ok. Rooms were decent. The smell of sarcasm and fish though is bad. All outside the resort. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but heard it wasn’t the greatest. Overall not bad.

The check in and check out process was not great. It took hours to get checked in and over an hour to get checked out. The resort relies heavily on golf carts to get around, so you may be waiting for a bit. The property was nice overall, but the beach was COVERED in red tide seaweed. I would not recommend going in the water. Many of the appliances in the room were broken, our faucet had to be repaired at one point and there is only housekeeping after 7 days. Without cleaning supplies, our room was a mess on day 7. We had a nice trip, but it was definitely not luxury.

The property itself is a great property. Upkeep is pretty good. The restaurant leave’s a lot to be desired, if you’re staying up on the hill and you’re pretty healthy, it’s not that hard to go up and down the stairs could be a little tiring. Otherwise, you have to wait long periods of time for the Golf Cart to pick you up. Erick was amazing and very friendly every time he picked us up on the golf cart. the worst part of our trip was the seaweed accumulated on the beach and the smell was horrific, due to this we didn’t spend much time at the hotel.

Go waste away at Margaritaville!

Margaritaville is beautiful and golf carts are available to take you to and from pools, restaurants, shops, etc. within the resort. Great location. Room was perfect. Never a problem getting a shuttle bus to beaches or ferries. Service at the restaurant is on island time and food is expensive. We loved the little coffee shop for breakfast and lunch. Best coffee ever! Roosters cockadoodle in the morning. I would definitely recommend!

The staff at the market and the bartenders were very unfriendly. The food was not great. The coffee was very limited. The staff at main building was friendly. The water in front of the resort was disappointing. I wont be staying here on next visit.

I had a great time ..good resort at first we had a problem with our toilet pressure but they came up immediately and fixed the problem so I was satisfied..only thing is it's not all inclusive at all so they need to take that off because that's false advertisement 😂 but overally kids loves thw place and we will be visiting again ...oh yea and it's a lot of stairs but you can call for some one to pick u up to bring u to the festivities...

I loved everything about our stay. Our room was beautiful, quiet, private. I thought the entire staff was very friendly. Drinks were good, food was pretty good. I only wish i had stayed longer to enjoy some of the activities the resort offers.
