Everything about this place was wonderful. Best B&B we've ever stayed in. Walkable distance into the main town of Eastsound, and even shorter walk to the Orcas Center for live music (we were there for Jazz Fest weekend). The owners are super-nice, and after serving up amazing breakfasts each morning, were available for any questions on good hikes, shops, restaurants, etc. We'll be back to this place for sure.

Great bed and breakfast with a beautiful property in a very good location in eating Eastsound. Less than 5 min to downtown and quick walk to North Beach which had great sunsets. What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was perfect for our needs and very quiet and private. Watching the birds on the feeders (and the squirrels sometimes too) in the morning was so peaceful. They have plenty of nice outdoor seating to breathe in the island air and relax as well. Breakfast was *amazing* each and every morning, just the right way to start a beautiful day on Orcas Island. We will definitely return for another stay!

I loved the history of this B&B. It was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The hosts were interesting and socialized during breakfast. It was great to have conversations together with the other guests. I had the cute and extremely quaint room facing the trees. It was perfect.
