Lovely staff. Great little village and lovely walks tin fields with sheep and beautiful church and surrounding . Church is open for quiet times during the day. Perfect. Under £20 UBER/taxi to Oxford airport. Beautiful location & great hospitality

The hotel is set on a beautiful setting in a stunning village of kirtlington. The hotel itself is idyllic to look at from the outside with beautiful stone work. The hotel has a good outdoor seating area and a fantastic restaurant with tasty Indian food. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and make you feel welcome. They are so passionate about their business it really makes your stay that extra special. The rooms are clear tidy and very cosy.

Small independent hotel and restaurant in a stunning village. The most attentive and welcoming staff. The food in the restaurant was amazing and we have extremely high standards when it comes to curry! Aziz surpassed our expectations and was one of the best we have eaten. The hotel itself was extremely clean, well presented, the food was wonderful, but it was the staff who made our two night stay truly special. We now need to find another reason to drive three and a half hours to go and stay there again. Hint : the nature of the old and beautiful building means no air conditioning, fans are available for the odd occasion we get heatwave.

Clean and well finished

Friendly staff and was given a very clean and nicely finished en-suite room. The hotel appears to be recently refurbished and is in great condition with good attention to cleanliness. I will be using this as my first option when I return next month.
