Room was small (but not cramped). It was very clean and modern, and the bathroom / shower were great! In a perfect location for theatres (on 8th Ave, between 46th and 47th). Lots of food options nearby, and only a few blocks from Times Square. Very friendly staff. Water and coffee available for free. Only possible hitch . . . no elevator! So if you are good with taking the stairs, this place is wonderful! (there are even signs saying that taking the stairs is good exercise, and good for the heart and legs!) Overall, great place!

The twin bunk bed room room was small (as expected) but very organized and clean, and soundproof, which was great after a very busy day. It took effort to climb 5 flights of stairs but we knew in advance that there was no elevator--this could be an issue for people with larger luggage or with bad knees. The room was well designed and you can tuck your suitcase under the lower bunk. I did not check out the amenities in the baseament but was glad to get coffee on the second floor lounge. We will return!

I always love staying here. They can do early-check in so much earlier than most hotels. Staff are always friendly and the rooms are small but good for the location. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a night or two stay just because of the size of the rooms and the no elevator issue. When I have short stays it’s perfect!

This hotel is perfect for someone spending time at the theater or in Midtown and wants an economical choice. I stayed in a double-bed room which a perfect amount of space for a solo traveller. Plenty of space under the bed for storage. Shampoo and body wash provided in the room. A refrigerator was available in the room though a microwave was provided in the basement lounge. Coffee/tea provided on each floor in a common space. No elevators. Will stay again. Though it was a busy area, I didn’t notice noise outside (sirens, of course) except the subway which sounded like thunder (no loud, screeching noises). Location cannot be beat - theaters, a block off Times Square, major tourists attractions within walking distance, 5-10 minutes from subway station.
