幾好質素酒店

酒店總共有2層, 下面3間房, 數上4間房, 周邊環境好好有古代鄉村, 而酒店建築物都給予1930年代外觀, 最特別係CHECK-IN係酒吧餐廳入面, 而晚餐和早餐價錢都優惠不貴, 食物質素幾好. 而各服務員十分有禮貌好有笑容值得一讚. 唯一少許不滿意浴室浴缸較為不清潔.

Ground floor room, window wouldnt close. No-one at the hotel able to help or fix it, was told it would be passed onto management to speak about the following morning but this didn't happen. Was very much large enough for someone to get through and there was no solution. Room was not clean enough at all either. Dust everywhere, actually looked like room hadnt been occupied for some time. TV/mirror smears to the point of being hard to use.

The room was really nice, it had been recently decorated. The bathroom had not been given as much attention but was perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly and the pub area of the hotel was lovely. Just be careful that during really wet weather the hotel carpark can get a little flooded.

The hotel is in a good location close to countryside, waterways and elegant bridges. On site there is ample parking. Staff are all friendly and polite, I was told housekeeping is daily and this is not correct. The room was a decent size with inadequate lighting and tasteful decoration including curtains with pelmet and a decorative net. The window is an old style and single glazed, and being on a main road traffic can be heard, so can aircraft noise from the nearby East Midlands Airport. The radiator in the room was quite ineffective and whilst on at times imitated the sound of gravel being thrown. The bathroom too was a good size with ample space around the wash basin. The fan was on constantly and not very effective. Ear plugs are recommended for a restful night.

It’s a great place for me to stay for work meetings in Derby. Comfortable rooms, beds and pillows. Great food and selection of drinks. Always book this place if it’s available.

A hidden gem...

Very clean comfortable rooms, and very friendly service from all of the staff, especially Adele who just seemed to be everywhere! Both our evening meal and breakfast were good quality with plenty of choice.
