My first time in the UK: This was our last stop before going back to the USA. I loved the charm of this hotel. We sat on the patio for supper and the food was great as well as the hard working waitress. She was very nice. Bed was comfortable! Cotton sheets! Yay! The oscillating fan was a nice touch. I’m ok with no air conditioning but a bedspread would have been the ideal covering instead of a heavy comforter. Would definitely stay there again.

Having stayed here several time previously, I knew what to expect in the same room I had stayed twice before. I was warmly greeted by two ladies on reception who got me checked in. I decided not to have breakfast there as it was a little messed up last time. One of the ladies came out to show me where I could park in a packed area which I was grateful for. There was a good, functioning fan on a very warm day although the curtains were open and the windows closed which created a greenhouse atmosphere and I had to remedy immediately. I ate nearby, grabbed a quick shower and settled for a decent night's sleep despite the warm conditions. Always happy to stay here.

Exceptionally clean with everything you could want including tea/coffee making facilities & chocolate biscuits.
