This is the perfect place to stay if you want a clean, safe, centrally located room for a great price. The owners are lovely. The room is comfortable, bed is comfy, updated shower and the breakfast is nice. They even have good tv channels if you’d rather stay in one night. As a solo traveller who doesn’t need a fancy place - I would definitely stay here again.

I can’t praise this place enough! What a fantastic find, unbeatable value for money. The guest house is located just outside the old city walls and has lots of character. I stayed in the single room, which was tucked at the back, quiet, cosy, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were lovely to chat to, and the breakfast delicious and cooked to order. A perfect stay, I couldn’t have made a better choice for my trip to the beautiful city of York!
