The property was very clean. We stayed in the portion of the resort that allowed children. The property had water slides and plenty of spaces for you to sit poolside. I was not pleased with the availability of food options. I checked in on Monday morning and was scheduled to leave on Friday. As soon as we checked in we spoke to the representative to schedule our nightly meals. Unfortunately, out of 5 restaurants, we were not able to get a reservation for any of them before 9:00p.m. This is very difficult for families with children. Everything was already booked up before we ever arrived. Therefore, we ate at the buffet (which is always open) every night.
Another problem, was they advertise a game room. My son is 9 and was not able to go in the game room because you have to be 11 years old. In my opinion, they should at least allow a parent to accompany the child while there. They had a basketball court but the balls were flat. They had a ping pong table, but no balls etc. They had a pool table, but the stick did not have a felt tip on it. These things are small but certainly matter when you are trying to find things to do with your 9 year old son. The property is in the middle of a jungle area, therefore you see small raccoon looking animals walking poolside to find food.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we won't return mainly because of the food options and availability of those options.
