Clean room, great amenities. You get what you paid for, the place is great if your only staying for a couple of nights. You will need to get used to the tiny room ways lf living! All together this is way better than staying in a hostel with other people. You het your private room and your own bathroom. You have everything that you need in a small sized room.
Only downside was that there should be an option of booking a room without an actual window view. Some Rooms like mine ,on the Rear side of the building doesnt have a visible view of the outside. Im sure this is for privacy matters with the next door building.

We have to cancel our stay right after checkin cause my wife and daughter did not feel comfortable in this hotel. The place was bit shady and the room was very small for 2 people. Its dated and only one power point!! There is no front desk and no phone # to call. Totally disappointed!!!

Disappointing Experience Due to Extremely Rude Staff Member
During my recent stay at Sleep Inn Gotanda, most aspects of the hotel were fine, but one person completely ruined the experience. A middle-aged Japanese female staff member was extremely rude and spoke to me in a very condescending and dismissive manner. Her attitude was unprofessional and lacked any basic hospitality and she seemed to look down on guests rather than assist them.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable in customer service, especially in Japan where omotenashi (hospitality) is expected. I believe allowing someone with such a consistently negative and superior attitude to interact with guests could lead to more complaints and dissatisfaction from future visitors.
I hope the management addresses this issue to maintain the hotel's reputation. The rest of the facility and other staff were adequate, but this one person's conduct overshadowed everything else.
