Hideaway Inn it a delightful spot. Check in was easy, the rooms are clean and spacious with your own record player! And a large selection of vinyl in the livingroom. The game rooms are great for family time. There is a restaurant, Irish pub style food that is in the same parking lot. This is our second time staying here and will definitely stay next time we are in the area.

Everything seems to be really well-maintained and I enjoy the vibe of the hotel and room. There wasn’t much in the way of staff present, but I figured that would be the case with contactless check in/out. Great value in price relative to the area! I stayed once before and definitely would again.

No front desk exists so its a challenge to get things you may need. Interior is cool. Though 3nd floor lobby was very hot. Good area to hang out. Not business friendly in the lobby areas. Rooms could have better lighting, but we're pretty decent. Good bedding. Overall once you realize it's a self serve kind of place it is decent.

Staff wasn’t present. There is a uniqueness to the property, had a record player and plenty of records, but didn’t find one that actually worked, the decor was very retro and interesting. Shampoo, conditioner, soap were provided, no lotion. For those with children, the children’s playroom was cool. The adult game room needed a little maintenance to the Donkey Kong game (not working at all) and the handle on the PAC Man game needed tightening. The room had no counters or tables to sit at. All in all, not a bad stay, just needed a little attention.

It's a good location near Mt. Sunapee and close to Sunapee harbor. Hotel has an indoor pool, which we did not use. Be prepared to check in using your phone because there is no one is going to greet you at reception. There is a phone you can pick up and call customer service if you can't figure out how to check out on your phone.

Upon arrival, we had trouble turning on the TV because the remote wasn’t working properly. We called the Hideaway Inn’s phone number, and the representative assured us that the innkeeper would come to help. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up. After troubleshooting the issue ourselves, we figured out that plugging the Roku into a different HDMI port solved the problem. We also noticed that the remote’s batteries were nearly dead. It was disappointing that no one followed up or came to assist us, especially after we were told someone would. Additionally, the bed had an unpleasant, unusual smell, which made our stay less comfortable. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of service and attention to basic room maintenance.

Room was clean. Beds comfortable. No lotion in bathroom. No tables to put food or purse on. Some items fell into the bed frame. Large gap. Staff was not present. Email had very tiny link ti sign in hotel. Difficult. Coffee is important!! No creamer for coffee on first day. No coffee OR creamer on second day. Machine said full empty waste and wouldn’t work. No cups for coffee if it was offered. Pool cool to touch. Too cold to swim. Outside fire pit and chairs didn’t look ready to use. No breakfast offered or in room coffee tea or microwave. For TV only Roku. Must sign your own service to use. The lodge decorations were pleasant to look at.
