Pretty hotel. We had a wonderful stay in room 121. The suite had a beautiful 4 poster and the bathroom a huge roll top bath. We visited the spa and had an excellent breakfast. Lovely stay. Will return.

Other than that a perfectly good stay other than with the room bath not having a plug they had to give me a key to a 2nd room as they were unable to find a spare bath plug

Best steak I've had for a long time in the restaurant, although their prices have gone up quite a lot since I was last there 6 months ago. Some parts of room looking a little tired (furniture, shower, heater all looking quite battered and old) and due a refresh, but doesn't take away from overall value and good stay. The trip we had was great, the hotel had beautiful grounds and magnificent rooms. What an idyllic location to sit with your loved one and I could not complement the food or the restaurant any more. Staff were helpful and could not do enough to help. Would absolutely visit again.

Lovely hotel in Chesterfield. Very comfortable room, even though furnishings etc were quite dated. Hotel itself full of character and staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely to have breakfast included! Would love to stay again and next time try the spa!
