The Westin has been my go-to hotel when visiting GDL due to its location and comfort for years. On this recent stay, weekend trip, the hotel had no HOT water, Saturday nor Sunday. When I brought it up to the attention of check-in staff I was told upon my check-in the day prior I was given a notice of no hot water and that a notice was placed in my room, neither of which was true, deceitful. Had I received an actual notice of no hot water I would immediately relocate to another hotel, no questions asked. When paying the Westin rate hot water should never be an issue and if it is ALL guests should be properly informed and proper arrangements should be made by hotel management to keep guests satisfied. Overall, disappointed as other hotels strive to keep guests satisfied and returning.
