We never had hot water in the shower so we took freezing cold showers. The sink did have hot water. The cabinet under the sink fell on me, it was broken.

Average and bit disappointed stay
The good: Karen. Front desk person was amazing;helpful smart accommodating; just a wonderful person. Location: 15m from Manuel Antonio Natl Park and in center of all kinds of restaurants and stores. Also across the street from harbor. They have fruit (banana/apples) and coffee 24 hours so that was a welcome touch. Breakfast was ok but see below.
The bad: Internet connection was abysmal; it came and went and at this stage you would expect better. Pool was very small in size and surrounding area was tight; made for tight quarters. Pillows / mattresses were very soft and bordering on uncomfortable. Parking is free but area was super tight; pretty awful setup and you can’t go in and out as gate is locked. Again parking was pretty awful. Hotel not walking distance to beach. Need to drive but not too bad 20-30 minute drive. Breakfast was ok but it was the same thing every day; after four days I did not even want to order it anymore.

The front desk staff were always amazing. IT is the same breakfast everyday but so good! It is toast, eggs, and beans and rice. The hotel is quiet and in town so yo can walk to everything. Just such a cute hotel and great staff! Many good restaurants and you can walk 15 min. to an adorable rock lagoon to swim in. It is just past the marina down a dirt road to a little park, enter on the left. 15 minute drive to the sandy beach and it is gorgeous. Right before you get to Manual Antonio National Park. Get you tickets for this park at least a week ahead or you won't get in, get a guide.

The room was good and quiet. Didn't see other quests due to Covid 19 restrictions. Breakfast included was basic local (tico) food. Had a nice pool to relax. Good location in town of Quepos. Not all restaurants and businesses open. The owner and staff are very nice and helpful. Local bus service to Manuel Antonio beaches convenient.

Great hotel :)
The hotel is perfectly located 5min walk from the bus stop and 2min walk from the waterfront. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is good an you have access to coffee, fruits and fresh drinking water 24/7. There’s also a little pool, looks fantastic!!! :)
Rooms are super clean and beds are so comfy that you will never want to leave. We had a fantastic stay in Serenity Hotel

Good for overnight/short stay... Smallish rooms with good a/c, TV and small fridge...Staff was very good...Had some laundry done with a quick turnaround... Parking not an issue off-season since they have a small lot next door... Overall, good stay!

Personnel pas accueillant, chambre face à un mur. Parking compris dans la réservation, non payé le premier soir, ils ont tenté de nous faire payer le deuxième soir! Nous avons refusé. Personnel hautain pas souriant. A éviter, ils n’aiment pas leur travail.

A very nice breakfast and the help was quite friendly. When we asked for directions for places to eat and shop, very helpful. We only have good things to say about Hotel Serenity.

Pictures can be misleading! The hotel is terribly dated, everything is in disrepair and dirty. The are is unsafe, the hotel will charge you 10$ more to watch your car!

Fensterloses Zimmer und nur durch Klimaanlage halbwegs aushaltbar!
Kleiner Pool zum Erfrischen! Kleiner Aufenthaltsraum. Wenn nicht die eigene Klimaanlage Lärm macht, dann mit Sicherheit die eines anderen Zimmers!
