Good hotel in the centre of Verona

This was a very convenient hotel right in the middle of Verona. We arrived before the check in was open and left our bags so that we could go and explore. The room, which was at the back overlooking an alley was very spacious but there was a strange smell in it which was unaccountable. other than that the room was spotless with the added benefit of a Nespresso machine and kettle. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I can honestly say I slept better than at home. Although breakfast was included we had to leave early for the airport. The room was expensive but the convenience of the location was what you pay for. I would stay here again without reservation and recommend it to anyone wanting to be right in the centre of Verona. Easy for local buses to Lake Garda and the station and airport.

The location is great — steps from L’Arena — and the room overall was nice. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We were initially worried about the noise level coming from the 3rd floor above us, but it improved. Our biggest complaint was the lack of communication before arrival. We emailed about parking almost a week prior, but got no response. On the day of arrival, we called at least 10 times, and no one answered the phone. This caused us to have to repark our car, which was a hassle, as it was a very hot day in Verona. When we asked about the failure to communicate, the lady at the desk told us the phone calls go to the Ristorante Ippopatamo (where the complimentary breakfast is served), and apparently no one answered. I guess they don’t check email, either. But, all-in-all, it was fine for the price we paid.

Hübsches Hotel in der Stadt mit einigen Mängeln

Ich hatte ein Zimmer im 2. Stock und könnte das Zimmer leider nicht weiter empfehlen. Die elektronischen Geräte sind ziemlich laut. Kühlschrank habe ich abgeschaltet, Klimaanlage sowieso. Neben dem Zimmer läuft der Fahrstuhl. Alle Stunde für ca. 5 Minuten lautes Brummgeräusch, welches nicht abzustellen war. Ich habe Gott sei Dank keinen leichten Schlaf, so dass ich durchschlafen konnte. Das Zimmer selbst war nett und im alten Stil eingerichtet. Hier war nichts auszusetzen.

The Arena Views

You could not ask for a better location, apartment was very nice with double balcony and stone throw view of the arena. Looked after by staff, the air on was poor with outside temperature at 27 degrees but we left doors open to balcony and got a nice breeze. Let down on the top up of beverages with no creams or coffee pods on second day. Cannot fault breakfast at all. Would certainly recommend and I would return

アリーナのすぐ側、マッツーニ通りの一本隣の通りでロケーション抜群です。 お部屋の窓からアリーナが見えました。お部屋は広く、新しくておしゃれでした。 冷蔵庫には無料のミネラルウオーターとスパークリングウオーターが入っていました。wifiもよく繋がります。エレベーターがないのが不便なのと、階段での話し声と、上の階の人の靴音が結構気になりましたがそれ以外はとても快適でした。 ブラ広場のマンマミアというレストランで、今はチェックインと荷物の預かってもらえます。朝食もこちらのレストランでコンチネンタルブレックファーストですが、いろいろメニューから選べます。夏ならブラ広場に面したテラスで朝食ができて素敵だろうなと思います。

Ideal gelegen, inmitten der Altstadt, mit herrlichem Blick auf die alten Mauern der Arena di Verona. Sehr bequem um immer wieder Einkaufstaschen im Zimmer zwischenzulagern. Am Abend gingen wir vom traumhaften kleinen Restaurant direkt auf die gegenüberliegende Haustür zu, einfach ein Hammer, für uns ein Volltreffer mit Herz

Vi hade ett stort rum, 55vkvm, med ett loft. Jättefint och riktigt fräscht, bra service vid incheckning. Lite bökigt om man kommer med bil, då man inte kan köra med bil till hotellet, gatan avstängd för trafik. Men ett parkeringshus fanns i närheten, så det underlättade ngt. Mitt i smeten i Verano, vid Arenan. Frukosten var sisådär, för lite mat, man var tvungen att beställa det man skulle ha, och de glömde min beställning. Överlag bra hotell.

The building is a few hundred yards away from the restaurant where you check in and get your keys They don't help you with your bags The only way up to the room is a narrow flight of stairs There is NO internet connection. The room is funky Faulty Towers standards of service, care and attention towards their guests I checked out after my first night and moved to a local hotel which was cheaper and actually provided the services listed in the description

Wonderful!! Want to go back!!

What an amazing place! We had a quadruple room with arena view. It was more like a house than a hotel room - two storeys, two lounge areas, two full sized bathrooms, both with decent showers & one with a jacuzzi bath. And the view & location was incredible. Literally 30 seconds from the arena. Room was cleaned spotlessly every day & the free water & coffee/tea was replenished daily. Check-in wasn't as confusing as some reviews suggest - just head for Mamma Mia restaurant instead of Ippopotamo & there's someone waiting to deal with you straight away. They keep hold of your luggage if you arrive before the room is ready & point you in the direction of the entrance to the accommodation which is from the street behind. If I'm being picky, the only niggle was breakfast, again in Mamma Mia restaurant. It's very disorganised & can take a while you to be served, but is is plentiful, tasty enough and you can eat as much as you want so as long as you're not in any real rush it should be perfectly adequate. We had a brilliant 5 day stay in Verona made extra special by this wonderful place. You should book it now!

Excellent stay with excellent view from the balcony and Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was just FANTASTIC! (Just be prepared for a steep staircase and a very flamboyant décor.)
