I stayed with my mother who is in a wheelchair most of the time. They were very accommodating and kind! My only complaint is that the sidewalk out front was a little rough so it was kinda hard to push her but that’s not the hotel’s fault. The room was perfectly accessible! We had a great stay!

I had a really frustrating experience at this hotel, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear things weren’t being run properly. Trying to call the front desk was pointless—no one ever answers the phone, which immediately makes you feel like there’s no support if something goes wrong. The room itself was disappointing. While the size was decent, it was noticeably dirty and poorly maintained. Only one outlet in the entire room actually worked, which made charging devices a hassle. On top of that, two of the lamps didn’t work, and the TV was completely nonfunctional. It felt like basic upkeep just wasn’t a priority here. The issues weren’t limited to the room either. One of the elevators was out of service, which caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience, especially during busy times. To make matters worse, we were hit with an unexpected fee at check-in simply because we booked through a third-party website. That was never clearly communicated beforehand and felt pretty shady. Customer service was practically nonexistent. There was only one overwhelmed front desk employee who seemed to have no authority to actually resolve issues. When we brought up problems with our room, we were told there was nothing they could do. On top of that, the staff’s appearance and professionalism were lacking—one employee was wearing headphones and acted annoyed that we even approached them for help. Overall,SKIP SKIP SKIP just go elsewhere.

Staff was on the phone doing personal business while trying to check in. There was a broken heater in our room and a huge hole in the bathroom creaking exposing pipes.The cleaning staff never showed up during my stay. I couldn’t ask for toilet paper. So I had to buy from outside. I used the same towels for three days.

would not recommend staying at this hotel. First of all, we were charged $10 per bag just to store our luggage until check-in time, which felt excessive and unnecessary. The room was booked for four people, yet only two bath towels were provided. I had to request additional towels twice before they were finally delivered, which was frustrating after a long trip. Additionally, housekeeping was not performed at all during our two-night stay, despite this being a standard expectation. The overall condition of the room was also disappointing. The walls showed clear signs of humidity and poor maintenance, which made the stay feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the bathtub had no shower curtain, causing water to spill all over the bathroom floor every time we showered. The front desk staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, which added to the overall negative experience. Overall, the hotel feels poorly managed, lacking basic service standards and attention to detail.

The room I stayed had no heat, the temperature was 52 deg at checkin. I tried to get switched to a different room, they said they had none. By the time I woke up in am it was 48 deg. They wouldn’t give me refund although it’s illegal to have hotels that cold.

For starters let's address the fact that nearly all run down hotels in NYC that have 2 elevators will shut down 1 to save electric cost while claiming it's broken. BS. The TV in our room had no channels or cable. The heater unit is nearly ripped from the wall some kids could get killed by electrocution sticking a hand in there. There's not a single tissue in the building i had to blow my nose using their dry toilet paper. The ceiling light is hanging by a simple bent wire about to snap. There's no coffee machine in the room but that's OK they serve burnt coffee WITHOUT creamer in the lobby. The room windows are so filthy you can't see a thing outside. And clearly the building owner only cares about what little profit is earned, NOT customer service or experience. $4 for a tiny bottle of water? The Halal stand on the corner sells double the size for half the price. What a joke. Never again do i even look at this place. And they capped it off by charging me another $25 claiming i didn't pay the full amount thru Hotels com. I'm done with this app as well this is my permanent sign off. Deuces.

I was nervous because of the bad reviews I had seen, but honestly, I had a very good experience: the room was spotless, the heating worked perfectly, the room was beautiful and very spacious, the service at reception was great, and my TV worked. The hotel is centrally located—just a 10-minute walk to Times Square—and I was able to explore downtown Manhattan on foot.

For the price and location, this was a great value. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. My room was in the back, so it was relatively quiet. On the downside, the cable did not work on the night I stayed there. Also, there was a space heater in my room, because the regular heating system was apparently not working. Still, I would stay there again.

None of the televisions in the hotel work. One of my pillows was dirty. When I asked for a different room, the young lady at the front desk was quite rude. I was told that there were no rooms available even though the hotel seemed almost empty. If you’re thinking of staying here, you should reconsider. Room rates are low but you get what you pay for.

The room was clean and bathroom was spacious. We arrived early for check in and were told we were too early. No problem. We asked to store our bags and were charged a $25 fee. I have stated multiple times in various hotels and have never been charged a bag storage fee. Upon check-in several hours later. We were told that our room with 2 queen beds had been given away. The reservation was made months in advance. How was the room not accounted for? We were split into 2 separate rooms. One bathroom had shampoo in a cup. The other bathroom did not have body wash. Upon check out, I was told one room was booked for another night. Still am waiting to ensure I do not get charged for another night.
