The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. One thing that was new to me was their cleaning policy: the room is only cleaned after 7 days of staying. I found this inconvenient, especially for a longer stay.

The Place was very well maintained. The rooms was big, cleaned and assessable. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. One thing is the gym was to warm. Usually a gym is at cooler temp. other than that, I still give this hotel five stars!

Solid stay at Candlewood Suites in St. John's. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is in a very safe part of the city. Our room was updated and fully stocked with everything you'd need. Nice view of Signal Hill in the distance, and the two separate thermostats were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. No complaints — would recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. I wasn’t expecting a kitchen in the room, but it proved to be very convenient. The only thing that I was disappointed in, was there wasn’t a charging station for my EV Hybrid vehicle.

Check in was a nightmare. We arrived at 2:45. Front desk told us to sit and wait because check in isn’t until 3. That was fine. But at 3 the room still wasn’t ready & wouldn’t be ready until 5:30! We were going to an event so this didn’t work for us. They gave us a room to rest in ( after or 6hr drive) while we waited for our room to be ready. We offered to stay in this room even though it was a cheaper room but they wouldn’t let us. They also expected us to leave our belongings so staff could move it or we could move it after our event (11pm). We refused. So we waited in the first room until 5:30 when our room was finally cleaned, moved our belongings and had to rush to get ready for our event. It was very chaotic and unorganized. Checking out was a slow process. Their computer system is so slow the lobby was full of people waiting to check out. We couldn’t even get free breakfast for our inconveniences . Terrible service. We spoke to the manager but all he offered was extra points & 10% discount ( a whole $36) . What a joke. We definitely won’t be returning to this particular hotel. the room was nice & clean but not with the hassle.
