Boutique in the heart of Old San Juan

Enjoyed beating the heat in the room after strolling Old San Juan, and soaking in the small rooftop pool. Comfortable beds. My ground-floor room was effected by noise from the on-property bar; don't know if that would be an issue for upper-floor rooms. Good location!

Old San Juan memorable stay

Excellent classic, old-school with a nevertheless modern vibe boutique hotel in a quiet area of Old San Juan. Very attentive and responsive staff, always ready to help with tips and suggestions. Spotlessly clean. The sole issue we had on the first night was superbly resolved by an extraordinary, and unexpected, upgrade which made our family group’s informal reunion even more memorable. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next Puerto Rico and recommend it without reservation.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Old San Juan. It’s an old historical Spanish building with many original features of the doors, tiles, windows and ceilings. They have a small bar to get late night drink/snacks and the rooftop has a beautiful small pool with a spectacular view and breakfast available. Very clean and easy to walk to everything.

Old San Juan trip prior to Cruise

We chose San Juan b/c we had a cruise departing from San Juan. The location was excellent to enjoy Old San Juan. It was close to restaurants and nightlife! The hotel had one remote to control the AC and they held that, so we had to request someone from the front office to change the AC temp when needed. Other than that, this place is really nice and highly recommended!!!

Centrally located and clean

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The room was a little dark and we weren’t used to needing to put tp in a bin rather than in the toilet but that’s usual in PR apparently due to old plumbing. Centrally located and close to bars, restaurants and shops.

Hotel is charming. Check in was fine. Beds were very soft and sagged significantly in the middle. Hard to sleep well. Hotel bar was never open. My shower glass door could have been cleaner.

The receptionist Allison was amazing! Big shout out to her, she made the trip fabulous! Room 2A was NOISY! I mean NOISY, and damp and had mosquitos. I’m sure the other rooms here are nicer. At OVER $225 a night, this was an expensive stay. I wonder if they give these rooms to Orbitz customers or what. Also 4.50 for the worst cup of coffee. All other coffee was cheaper and wonderful! Too bad, the location was great!!! And Allison was great!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were so kind and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean and the area was quiet. Very walkable to everything around Old San Juan. Even a thirty minute walk from Escambron beach. I lived my experience here and definitely will be returning next time I am in San Juan.
