I stayed here for three weeks. Communication with host was poor. After taking me I needed to provide my details to the local host, neither the hosting company nor the local host were responsive to my multiple messages until the day before I arrived. Upon my arrival I found the kitchen cabinets, range hood, and countertops greasy.
On the bright side, the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, a large refrigerator and range. There was hot water in kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was decent size and had a washing machine. The walls were well-insulated so there was no noise from other apartments.
The location, Estación Central, an Uber driver described as “peligroso.” It’s a very busy area but felt okay during the day.
In the apartment I smelled smoke from outside (like a brush fire or burning rubbish) every evening. Noise from the street between midnight and 6 AM made it hard to sleep.
Proximity to Lider was good for getting groceries and the nearby metro station made it easy to get to other parts of town.
I wouldn’t stay here again.
