Family friendly. Neat history. Fantastic location. We were able to walk to almost everything. Had dinner at the hotel (ribeye and filet) they were both delicious. Walked over to Pancake house for breakfast. Hotel is located right next to actual hot springs and all the shops. They are undergoing renovations but it wasn’t a big deal. Staff was friendly. Mamoo’s ice cream downstairs was sooo good! We are happy we chose to stay at The Arlington!

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I had no issues the first time which made me book again. The lady that checked me in was rude. At night the rooms were very cold. You cannot control the heater from your individual room because the heater is for the entire floor. Other than that I do love the vintage look, the convenience of the area and I love the mall that they have downstairs.

The hotel says it’s under construction and gosh does it need to be! Our bathroom was falling apart badly. The king bed frame was very noisy - Along with the neighbors bed - banging loudly against our wall!! Staff was pleasant but not very interested in our room review during checkout

First, the outside of the building, the neighboring park, the area, and the lobby get your hopes up. The lobby and the veranda, that is off of the lobby, is great. Definitely go there. However, the room was just awful. They say they are renovating, and I must have gotten a pre-renovation room. We like NOTHING about the room. The dirty carpet was patterned avocado green - from like 50 years ago. Too filthy to use in a garage. Toilet didn't flush. Wood rot in the closet. Shower was ancient. Zero sound insulation. We heard every word our neighbors said. And the bed squeaked all the time. And just little things. If we were honeymooners, the whole hotel would have known. Maybe if you get a renovated room it would be fine, but what we had was awful. And it was small. When we mentioned the squeaky bed, the receptionist couldn't have cared less.

Despite the computers being down all weekend we were there, the accommodations and staff and overall experience was great. The staff did their best to get guests checked in quickly without the use of their computer system…and on a very busy Valentine’s Day weekend! The hotel is undergoing renovations but it remained quiet and clean in the areas open to the public. The atmosphere in the lobby in the evenings was relaxed and fun with live music and great singers on the little stage. The food and drinks were delicious and again, the staff was amazing. I took off one star since it seemed they were not able to take reservations for dinner even though the dining room was not full at all. Perhaps they were low on staff? We enjoyed the history of the hotel and the vibe of “days gone by” it had. The bed was a little too hard for us, but not a big deal. The bathroom was what one would expect from an older hotel and still functioned great. Not sure we will come back in the summer or deep winter since it appears the hotel is not equipped with air conditioning or heat. Best to stay in Spring and Fall when the weather outside is more mild.
