The property is definitely looking dated. Staff were friendly and the pool was lovely but my bed was not overly comfortable and the temperature control in the room was impossible. It didn’t cool at despite being in all night and with the bedroom being up in the mezzanine it was too hot to sleep. Being an old property meant it was noisy as others came back to their room. Good location and convenient with parking but lacking the luxury feel for my liking

This is a gem in a historic though tired area … a really fantastic find. It is authentic ..it appears grand though very lived in. Staying in the delux rooms meant we were in the main house ..stunning and original furniture. The 25-foot ceilings with art in the medallion center, the massive furniture, the comfy bed, the modern bathroom — this capped off 10 days in Italy with a better sense of 18th century history. And we enjoyed the pool too!

Fabulous staff, and a massive baronial room with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of options and good coffee The pool and bar were a welcome surprise. It’s an old building and so don’t expect it to be anything but that. The area is not central to Naples but there are nice restaurants and cafes and is great for visiting Herculaneum. Didn’t use the parking but there was ample secure space and 20 min walk to the train station.

Loved the swimming pool, great air conditioning in the room, the breakfast was particularly delicious! Special mention of the barman at the pool, he was so friendly, funny and helpful! It's about 15 min walk to the train station and harbour where there are a few nice little restaurants too. The room was great. The beds are a little firm but much more preferable than too soft for us. There are 2 heavy gates to access the property plus the locked door to the lobby then finally our room so safety was never a concern. Our host communicated quickly after I had posed several questions and was even timely in her response when I had a question after checkout. The AC worked great which seems to be a luxury in Italy (fair to poor AC in Rome and Pisa). My daughter loved the large balcony to have offer and people watch. We would definitely stay again.
