This was our second visit to Hotel Gaivota Azores and we would come back again gladly. The staff are very warm and friendly, there is a parking pass available to rent, there is free breakfast, they offer a birthday cake delivered to room to celebrate a bday, and the view is amazing. We had a junior suite which had a large balcony and a fantastic panaramic view of the harbour. On arrival we were welcomed and checked in speedily and found our room beautifully presented. The hotel location is perfect - underground parking across the street for a reasonable price and walkable to all of the marina area and the many stores and restaurants in the area. The staff was second to none!!! Try for a room with a view as there is no outside amenity area. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice plus an la carte menu.
