We stayed at the Flamingo from the 29th of December till January 2nd. We travelled with our 3 small children (8,5,2). Gurkin was extremely helpful prior to our trip by arranging transportation for pickup at the airport, to arranging for us to check-in a bit early since we arrived so early in the morning. Hakan was fantastic and went the extra mile in his efforts to help us. Our bags were stored for us until we could check in and were upstairs in our room when we did check in. We were in need of a converter for our computer charger and a bottle opener, and Hakan brought one up to us immediately after we asked. The room was very spacious and had all that we needed to either cook or just store food. The bathroom was very clean with a great shower. They provided shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and soap. The location of the hotel was fantastic. We were able to walk to all the local attractions very easily and the tram/metro station was very close and easy to use. The room was very clean and perfect for our family. We stayed on the 3rd floor with the balcony, and I am very glad we chose that since on New Year's Eve we were able to see the fireworks going off around town. This was a wonderful trip, and made that much better by the helpfulness of the Flamingo staff. We would recommend this apartment to any of our friends and colleagues, and would stay there again if we visit Istanbul again.
