Perfect location . Located in beautiful building with elevator. Walk to sites all within 15 to so minutea/. Very good sound proofing when windows closed. Excellent AC . Appreciated help with calling taxi when we left. The only possible issue is entering building - have to call by home cell phone so more difficult with eSIM. Cafe, breakfast, gelato, take our lunch sandwiches , grocery , pharmacy, ATM, all less than 5 minute walk away

My stay at Locanda Orchidea was nothing short of phenomenal — a hidden Florentine gem nestled in the heart of the city, where history whispers through ancient walls and hospitality feels like a warm embrace. Every corner radiated charm, from the peaceful courtyard to the elegantly restored rooms that felt like a dream from another century. Waking up to the gentle light of Florence and stepping outside to find the Duomo just minutes away was pure magic. No geral é um ótimo local, com localização excelente. Host flexível e nos ajudou a carrega as malas. Quarto grande, limpo e com boa infraestrutura tanto do quarto quanto do banheiro. Os únicos pontos negativos foram: cobertura do wi-fi que não chegava na cama, café da manhã não incluso (somente com custo adicional de 7 Euros por dia) e barulho a noite, por estar acima de uma rua movimentada com bares ao redor.

Excellent facility. Dimitri was so friendly and bent over backwards to please. Large well appointed immaculately clean room with good breakfast. 800 yr old building. Just minuites from all historic area sites and shopping. Excellent restaurants also a few steps to just walking minutes away. Highest recommendation! A+++

Location is close to everything but away from major loud streets. Room was large and very comfortable. Dimitry is very helpful and even walked us to the nearest taxi station which is very close. Great bargain for the great location!!

Hyggelig og sentralt bosted. Vi hadde problemer med å komme inn fordi resepsjonen stengte kl 17, og vi ankom en time senere. Det ble en del digitale vansker før vi var inne på rommet. Etter det var alt greit.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for just a night but had such a lovely experience! Communication was great and the instructions for our late check in were easy to follow. The room was clean and comfortable and the surrounding area was peaceful while still having lots of dining options and being easily walkable to all of the sights and museums around the duomo. We will definitely stay again when we find ourselves back in Florence!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and comfortable in a charming historic building. The manager stayed a bit late for us so could be there for our check in. The area is wonderful with many quality restaurants nearby and super close to the center. One thing to note: This is not a B&B. There is no breakfast offered. While it is true that breakfast was not mentioned in our reservation, there are pictures of breakfast in the listing and, by definition, B&B is bed and breakfast, so we were a bit confused by that. The gentleman explained that the hotel is under new management and no breakfast was offered. I think Expedia should remove B&B from the title (The hotel plaque on the building does not have B&B) and remove the breakfast photos as well. That would clear everything up. Please, do not let the lack of breakfast stop you. This is a wonderful place to stay! And there is an amazing bakery/coffee bar a block away ;)
