Peaceful cabins along the Roy Bridge. Martin is a gracious host. The area is beautiful. Highly recommend to hikers/bikers of the Great Glen Way.

Had a great time in the pub watch Scotland play Poland.

This hotel is truly dreadful. The rooms are so dated and beyond basic. The £160 cost made me feel like I’d been mugged. The couple who run it are unfriendly and unhospitable. The breakfast was an embarrassing joke - the only choice - a half bagel with a choice of topping was just laughable frozen poor quality slop. I would not advise any one to visit this hotel.

Quite run down Not overly friendly compared to all other places we have stayed in Scotland Breakfast must be prepurchased the night before without actually seeing what they offer. Didn't buy it, went in the restaurant the next morning to buy a coffee. Glad I didn't prepay breakfast.

The WORST hotel i have ever stayed in. I travel for work and i have stayed in many hotels but this is by far the worst. There was no staff working the hotel, we waited around with numerous calls to reception with no answer, for the barman to come out from next door to tell us he has the key to our room. From then on we were on our own with no help. Room was basic and the beds sheets were clean but thats where it ended. No towels, no hot water. The noise from the bar was ridiculous, beds where cheap and uncomfortable. Carpets where dirty. It was honestly the worst hotel i have ever stayed in with no staff to help at all. Im currently in talks with Expedia regarding a refund as £120 a night quite frankly is a joke for a room that resembles a 1/2* hotel. Honestly guys avoid this hotel like the plague!

Very basic room, uncomfortable bed, tired/worn decor. Bathroom not particularly clean, previous occupant's toiletries left in shower so not sure if that had even been cleaned. Poor tea/coffee facilities. Only two paper cups provided so if we'd had a hot drink in the evening we'd have had to reuse a soggy cup in the morning. Proper cups would be so much better as they can be washed. No glass provided in the bathroom. For the price we paid I'd expect some complimentary toiletries (mini shower gel etc) but there were none. WiFi password wasn't provided and reception was shut so we couldn't ask anyone for it. Overall, very disappointing.

The hotel was nice enough, it accepted our dogs which was good. Pity that that the restaurant was closed and £16 for breakfast in the bar was a bit steep.

Very unfriendly on arrival. Literally stood by the bar waiting to order food for over 30 mins without anyone speaking or looking at us. Then told we were too late so I complained and they served us. We sat outside where it was clear other guests were extremely unhappy.

Convenient half way point. Needs some attention, cheap and nasty coffee and tea in room. Shower needs deep cleaned.

Comfortable stay with a clean bathroom and a decent shower! It’s in a great area and we enjoyed watching Netflix on the 4K smart TV in the evening.

Checked in last minute due to bad weather (NC500). Owner is an ex biker and is vert friendly.Beds are comfy an dthe hotel is clean. A little dated but clean and tidy. Bar is good, with a good choice of food at good prices. Grounds could do with some TLC but as a base or a one night stay, no problmes at all.

Having had to make a booking at the last minute, the Roy Bridge Hotel was the only hotel in the area which could accommodate a family of five. Overall, the accommodation was just about acceptable but it was quite expensive for what it was. Obviously, the location in the Scottish Highlands is excellent and this is the one factor that goes some way to account for the price. Other positives were: comfortable beds with clean bedding, ample parking, USB charging points in the bedroom, the exterior of the building has character. On the down side: the interior is tired and much in need of a entire face-lift. For example, the door in the bedroom had been repainted from a dark colour to white but it was sorely in need of a second coat. Elsewhere, wood chip wallpaper was much in evidence and the bathroom door frame was a study in a how many different locks one might fit over the the years. In sum, there was nothing fundamentally wrong but it could be so much better.

The family room was very, very basic. The windows wouldn’t shut, and we’re also filthy. No bin was provided. Pillow slips had make up marks on. Private use bathroom was very basic too.

Clean, recently decorated, comfortable beds, good size family room. Some rooms have the bathroom separate, but still private, (your room key opens your room and your bathroom but you need to go out into the corridor in your pyjamas or towel.) Nobody seemed to find it a problem. New thick carpets mean some doors need effort to open, hard for aged 8 or less perhaps. Toast and cereal breakfast. Bar in the pub does meals, no points for presentation, but tasty generous portions do not disappoint. Friendly service.

The hotel was very tired and bed very uncomfortable and room small there was no reception and no contact with manager. The price was outrageous for the facilities breakfast was a joke with no hot food only a so called continental breakfast had to explain to waitress how to make porridge we did not even try and have breakfast on the second day this hotel did not reach anywhere near the advert on the Hotel.com website and should be taken off. When we checked their website the price was £99 and we were charged £140 plus taxes in the bathroom the hot water was on the cold tap and cold on hot one. Photo show the view from our window.
