Comfortable cabin but interior / decor dated. Breakfast area cramped and busy, especially where getting your food, but comfortable seating and lovely views depending on where seated. Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Very impressive and lots to do. All the staff were lovely too. Clean spacious family room. Got moved when we asked for a better view and the room was ideal. Good restaurants and a good atmosphere. Didn’t do the activities as Storm Amy arrived!! Would be lovely in the summer. Will definitely go back to stay.

Room was clean with beautiful views and enough space for all 3 of us. Staff were very pleasant and helpful when questions were asked. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Had to ask for pancakes for my little one though and no chocolate sauce which she was disappointed in but didn’t ruin our breakfast experience. We used the pool which was great too. Kids pool was warmer than the big pool which was lovely.

The hotel had a conference booked during our stay and sadly catered to them at the cost of the hotel residents. We had asked at reception where we could get lunch and were directed to one of the eateries only to find it closed. On returning to reception the same receptionist didn't seemed to care and said she didn’t know it was closed. On speaking to the duty manager say gave the reason that apparently due to the number of staff that were not able to cope with the guests and the conference attendees at the same time. Also we had also found the lodges we had to be in a poor state with windows not able to be securely shut and looked and pathway leading to them very poorly lit, all in all needing a lot of TLC.
