Had a great stay here. Hotel is in a great location, close to lots of shops, town centre etc, but also is quiet and a nice area. Kim (i think it was) was a great host, very helpful indeed! a great stay, will come again

Really nice, would stay again!!

Really nice stay. Room was spotless and tidy. Really good shower and I loved the basin as well, real premium look. Be aware hotels.com suggests it's 24hr check in, but upon talking to the Camberley directly we found out that's not the case. Thankfully they were extremely helpful and allowed us an early check in to avoid a disaster. Car park is very tight , but if you're a capable driver you'll be fine.

Couldn't recommend them enough

The team at The Camberley were wonderful - efficient, friendly, and very flexible to our needs at a difficult time for us when a loved one was in hospital and sadly passed away. We will use The Camberley again for sure, and recommend it to anyone. It was incredible value for money, especially being so central in Harrogate

Great nights sleep 😴

Lovely room on 1st floor with large bay window overlooking the convention centre (which is not a bad view). Very comfy bed and a nice room layout especially with comfy chairs by window. Bit disappointed to see some rubbish under bed whilst enjoying comfort in bay window chairs and no toilet roll in bathroom was, I'm hoping, just an oversight. Aside, great nights sleep although wish i remembered I'd left curtains open when i got up in morning 😳 😀 I'll definitely return when I'm next back in Harrogate 👍

Some areas are dated but for some people, that will add to its uniqueness. There's some fabulous artwork painted directly onto the walls and we got a very warm welcome. While the sitting room contained a few random boxes when we arrived, our room was spot on! Lovely furniture with an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and even a fridge, as well as a modern bathroom with body wash, shampoo and hand wash. It has parking (for an extra cost) and is a short walk into the town centre. It was brilliantly priced and we'd definitely stay again.

Hidden gem with car park

To find a guest house with a car park minutes from The Montpelier area is an absolute gem. Even though on the main road; it was exceptionally quiet. Iron, hairdryer, cute little ironing board and fan - they thought of everything. Boom - bamboo toilet roll just like I have at home. Will definitely stay again.

8/10 Very good

A stones throw from the bars, restaurants and shops of Harrogate but far enough away to be quiet. Friendly greeting by the owner. Room did the job. Bathroom had clearly just been renovated, really good size. Main room wad a little dated but had everything you needed. Comfortable bed, TV, big windows with a view onto main street and clean. Breakfast was tasty if a little over priced, just my opinion. But you didnt have to have it, they ask on arrival. All in all, for what we wanted, it was great and I would stay there again.

Overall very good but we requested two single beds and were given a double bed. Having car parking in central Harrogate was great. Very clean, excellent value for money.

Great stay in a great location

Fabulous B&B. Would definitely recommend. We chose it because of the free parking which is unusual in Harrogate. It was a great choice though. We got a lovely welcome on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. En-suite bathroom had a nice big shower. The Camberley is also in an excellent location. You can easily walk into the town centre within a few minutes. Breakfast was great as well, and vegetarian option was no trouble.

Lovely but getting expensive

This is the second time staying at the Camberley, last time 13 months ago. Nothing to complain about only a few little things if i was being picky. Its great to see that the rooms have been updated stayed in room 2 this time which was really nicely decorated, bright and modern, lovely comfy bed and pillows, comfortably heated not drab as room 10 was 13 months ago! Tea and coffee in room but no little biscuit this time and no artificial sweeteners either in the room or downstairs where the spares are kept. No where to hang wet towels, needed some extra hooks in the bathroom, lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. Nice little fridge in the room to keep your own fresh milk and drinks in etc. Didn't stay for breakfast this time so unable to comment, though have to say very disappointed that the price has doubled in the last 13 months which may make me look at other places next time as after all it is only, but a very nice B & B with the convenience of its own car park. Lovely friendly owner obliged to let us check in early.

A great find would definately stay again.

We were greeted by a very friendly lady (the owner) a couple of hours before check in time who was happy to check us in as our room was ready. Lovely B&B, an added benefit of onsite free car parking, with an easy 5 min walk in to town. We had room 10 which was lovely, though the 4 poster bed was a bit small (three quarter as opposed to double) The big bay window looked out on to the street at the front allowing lots of lovely day light in, we could hear the traffic but not a problem in preventing sleep. The bathroom was lovely and very modern with a lovely touch of some locally sourced toiletries though forgot to tell the owner the light above the mirror was faulty! The bedroom had enough space though the decor was a bit drab and dreary and in need of brightening up along with the carpet, but this is just personal taste and didnt stop us from having a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee in the room and homemade biscuits was a thoughtful touch. Bed linen, quilt and pillows just lovely. Would have liked to have had a full length mirror and some coasters so our hot drinks didnt spoil the lovely furniture! We did pay extra for the breakfast which was a great quality and cooked to order so lovely and fresh. Toast, cereals, fruit juice and fruit all self service.

Great location, upmarket, warm hotel, free parking

I travelled to Harrogate for the Theatre, to see a comedy show with friends. The free parking and close location to the town centre where the main reason for choosing The Camberley. It's a lovely hotel, very clean, with a nice, friendly atmosphere. The staff where very friendly and helpful. My room (3)was on the top floor, it had a four poster bed, which I didn't expect. The room was small but comfortable and it felt quite upmarket. Really nicely decorated, it had a boutique feel to it.The ensuite was nice and clean, a toilet, wash basin and a shower cubicle with dark wood style panels, made a nice change from the usual white.Shower has an adjustable handset. Electric, simple to use and good water pressure. Towels where nicely folded, placed on the bed.The room had a chair, table with tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, open rail clothes hanger and a couple of bedside drawers with lamps on. An old style column radiator which I didn't need as it was warm outside. The view from the window overlooked the car park at the rear of the property with trees and the residential street behind. Overall, a really nice, comfortable room. The toilet was very close to the wall, my knees could touch it when sitting, but it was a small ensuite. The buildings in Harrogate are old and beautiful. People didn't need large rooms back then. You come to Harrogate for it's period charm.
