I have to rate this a 3 as a blend of 1s and 5s 5 - great location, close to Mega Caverns and Zoo 1 - No one checks you in or makes breakfast - you make your own breakfast 1 or 5 - it is very old. That can be cool/interesting, or can be annoying. For example, the bathtub was in a hole and you could not stand up in it 5 - Beds were super comfortable! 1 - Dust mites ate my son alive in his bed, causing welts 5 - They gave our son his own room as compensation 1 - I had to guilt them into that 3 - Breakfast items were meh 5 - they had milk, eggs, pancake mix and lots of cooking utensils in a huge kitchen 1 - rating myself for being too lazy to do the cooking 5- the grounds were very nice 1 - the exterior light right outside our room went off and on all night, keeping us up

Dear Expedia Support, I am writing to formally request a refund regarding a recent booking that did not meet the agreed standards and was significantly misrepresented. Upon arrival, we were informed that the room we had originally booked was unavailable. Instead, we were offered a different room at a reduced price (from $160 to $135). However, this replacement room was of substantially lower quality and did not match the listing we selected at the time of booking. The conditions of the room were unacceptable: - The room was extremely cold, and the provided heater was ineffective and excessively noisy, making it impossible to sleep. - We were forced to sleep in our clothes due to the low temperature. - The sleeping arrangements were inadequate, including uncomfortable mattresses and a fold-out bed that appeared to be assembled from broken furniture. - The bed was placed directly next to a drafty window, causing continuous cold airflow. - There was a strong cigarette odor in the room, indicating it had not been properly cleaned or ventilated. - The space was overcrowded with furniture (including a refrigerator), leaving almost no room to move. - While it initially appeared clean, the room was in fact cluttered and poorly maintained upon closer inspection. After a long journey, we expected basic comfort, including warmth and proper sleeping conditions. Instead, the stay caused significant discomfort and inconvenience. This situation constitutes a clear case of misrepresenta

Beautiful Inn! New ownership may be still be working out some details. Ammenities listed for our suite were not completely accurate. While having a private bath - I am also glad to not be shy with my husband. We could maintain eye contact and conversation at ALL times. ( I did peek in other rooms and this is not always the case ..) ( We had the jockey suite ) A curtain should also be added in this room for a touch more privacy. There is a window looking into the main house that let much light in at night and anyone of height or willing to use the available chair would look right at the bed. There was no breakfast. There was fruit available. No coffee. No milk for the cereal. The historic nature of the inn was spectacular. Location was great. It was clean, and interesting with great parking! Maintenance was so fast It was unreal. Also polite and personable. All in all.... it was a great stay. A few minor touches as ownership takes over will make it even better. Would come back!
