First room we were givin was not clean , hair in the tub and thc vape left on the back deck . But … they did upgrade our room for free and the next one was very nice and clean . Really enjoyed our stay and will stay again another time .

The hotel was clean with all the basic necessities. But nothing extra. And for the price I guess that was ok. All fixtures and furniture appeared to be new. There was no closet in the room, which was weird, but they did have some hooks on the wall. The staff were super nice.

We had a great time at the Brookside Lodge! We especially enjoyed ending our days in the hot tub! Staff was always friendly and helpful. And we LOVED that the Brookside Lodge is a trolley stop, very convenient!

We had a great stay! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and in very good shape. For the price we paid, I would not hesitate to stay again in the future. Loved the creek side balcony as well. We even got to see a Black bear come down on the opposite side from us to get a sip of water. Thank you! Carl M.

Great stay as always! Super friendly staff! We paid a little extra for the honeymoon suite this time but I think future stays will be the standard room. Not much difference and I think the standard rooms have been updated. Breakfast was good and it is within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg which was nice.

When we come to Gatlinburg as a couple we have stayed here since 1990’s. It has always been a comfortable place, with the river flowing in the back of the property and the friendliness of everyone! Definitely recommend staying here ❤️

We've stayed at this hotel.many,any times and always enjoyed our stay. But the last 2nd visits we were put in the older section. Behind the office on the right. Both stays were disappointing. We are well aware of the bear issues and the precautions to keep them from trying to get into cars etc. So we were surprised to find the bathroom window would not close all the way and we were unable to lock it. And the dead bolt was broken on the front door. Didn't discover either issue until after the office closed at 11pm. The breakfast was meager and unappetizing. Good coffee though. We are frequent visitors to Gatlinburg after 2 disappointing stays, may stay elsewhere. We enjoy the creekside rooms and fireplace, but disappointed how the facility has declined.
