Fantastic guest house. Fabulous view from the balcony and delicious breakfast. We booked for the wrong night, and didn't realise until the following day, but the owner allowed us to stay, regardless. Kept us a parking space right in front of the guest house.. Highly recommend staying here.

Very attentive and helpful staff. They offered to book a taxi for us to and from the bus station. Breakfast was good and the view from the breakfast terrace was beautiful.

The best location in Berat with a panoramic view .The room was clean, The owner was very friendly and helpful.Having a good breakfast on the veranda was a highlight.I highly recommend this place.

A lovely small hotel in the heart of the old city at the foot of the hill where the castle is. We only stayed one night but this is a beautiful city and a charming place to stay. Everything was spotless, and the family were really helpful. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river and old town was wonderful. Highly recommended and fantastic value.

The owners are super friendly and helped with everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Breakfast was delicious and different everyday, our view was amazing, and location was phenomenal! Our excursions were 10 meters walk from where we were and I cannot recommend this place more for your stay in Berat!

Very nice stay at this small beautiful decorated hotel in center of Berat. The staff was very helpful and served a nice breakfast with good coffee at their balcony with nice view. The owner offered to drive us to the busterminal when we left. All in all very recommendable. And btw please go to Osum canyon when you are I Berat. Extraordinary experience in Albania.

Great location and wonderful boutique hotel. Small but perfect room, with balcony. However, if you are of a larger size, be aware that it will be a squeeze getting in and out of the shower room / WC. The owner and his brother are fantastic and cannot do enough to make sure you have the best stay possible. Breakfast was fairly standard for Albania but served fresh to your table on the main balcony with fresh juice and decent coffee. The only negative was the noisey fridge, which is amplified by the fact the room is so quiet. If travelling by car, please be aware that there is very limited parking. Make sure you have your mobile roaming enabled and check your messages: If you have told them that you need parking, keep in touch before arrival and they will sort it for you. Alternatively, they will park your car elsewhere for you once you have unloaded your luggage. Also, if you use Google Maps to navigate to the hotel, be aware that it might take you in to town via the castle. Do NOT go this way as the road down from the castle has been made one-way and you can no longer (legally and safely) drive down to the town from here. Follow the road signs into Berat and then set the satnav to find the hotel, which is opposite Pasha's Gate.

Really unpleasant stay I parked in the public car park because the roads are narrow and on street parking is a risk. Property appeared closed when I arrived. A man appeared from somewhere and was insistent I park on the street. I tried to explain the car was fine where it was (Nb, I wasn’t expecting them to pay for it). This seemed to upset him. Got his son on the phone to tell me to move my car to the street. We eventually left it at “I don’t have a car” Room was clean enough. Used toiletries left in bathroom. No mention of breakfast. Got the password for wifi, connected successfully but no internet access The following morning, I just wanted to go. Assumed breakfast was an error (apparently common in Albania that the listing says breakfast but actually extra). I was accosted by the staff wanting me to have breakfast and to pay “566”(leke? City tax- although twice the rate I was expecting? Maybe?). Paid 600ALL, this was met with “no”. Unclear what the issue is, implication it wasn’t enough rather than that it was too much or change was an issue. Ended up giving €50 just so I could leave in tears. Never again My best guess is they had me mixed up with a different reservation (perhaps someone had insisted on a car park being saved, not prepaid and booked as a couple). Alternative theory that I was in completely the wrong place and I just stayed in some random guy’s house m
