I was pleasantly surprised to that this motel has been updated since the reveiws on the web did not sound promising. It was quiet and perfect for what we needed.

The checking in process was very efficient and welcoming, The staff person was very pleasant and professional. We enjoyed our stay. The one suggestion I would make is to have some chairs outside where one could sit and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

Very good at a reasonable price; the A/C was cold and I slept well. My only request would be for clothes hangers - there was nowhere to hang a sport coat or clothes or even a damp towel.

Very nice rooms, newly renovated. Almost no personnel on site. Had to call if anything was needed. Very prompt in taking care of you from off site.

Air conditioner didn't work, and the bed was horrible. We left at 1 o'clock in the morning because the stay was awful and couldn't open the windows for air because the screen had holes in it and bugs were coming in.

We stayed here the night before a ski day. We checked in late to our room. The host left us a note that they were gone for the night and left our room unlocked for us. The bathroom and sheets were nice and clean. The carpet is old and the room is a bit dated. I thought there was breakfast but maybe it opened after we left at 6:45 am to head to the mountain. We would stay there again. The price was right, it was safe and clean enough. Thanks!

The shower didn’t work. The deadbolt on the door didn’t work. There were someone’s whiskers on the side of the sink.There were specks of crumbs of some sort in the bed. Only decaf available for coffee in the morning. Staff was friendly when we got there but arrived late and so there was no one to call when we realized we couldn’t shower. Not such a great experience. There was a bed and heat so we at least had that.

Get it together!

There was no one there when we arrived at 2:30 so we left and came back at 7:30 and still no one. We eventually had to call someone to let us in our room. The next morning no one was there to have breakfast ready. By this time my wife was saying that this was the 3rd worst hotel ever. And to think I was there a couple of months back and had a good stay.

The hotel is certainly dated, which is both a blessing and a detraction. If someone is looking for modern, roomy, level and well laid out, this place is not for you. On the other hand, it is a reminder of how hotels used to be. The place serves it's purpose and has what is needed to provide a place to sleep, shower, and retreat from outdoor activities. The breakfast nook opens too late (8am) for me. Then again, Dunkin's is only a half mile away! The staff splits time between two properties so immediate face to face is not always possible. Still, it works, in an "old Maine" way.

Room needs serious updating. Carpet was disgusting, literally black with dirt. There was one usuable electric plug. TV looked like it was about to fall off wall

Motel has been upgraded since our visit two years ago, Bed was comfortable, room was very clean. It was a smaller room - but fine for an overnight stay. Would be good to have more convenient plugs for devices. Would stay again
