From check-in time to the time I got in my room it was close to an hour. There was no parking available in the hotel's underground parkade, nor was there nearby street parking. We were directed to a spot a few streets away, but there was no parking there either. I was told I would have to pay for overnight parking and that was a little ways away in another direction.
When I got back to the hotel and tried to find room 127, I went on a wild goose chase down several hallways without any success. When I went back to the lobby, I was told that he didn't understand why I had trouble because no one else had ever had trouble finding the room. I went back upstairs to try again and discovered that the reason for the confusion was that the numbers were missing on the direction sign. It was impossible to figure out without guidance. I don't appreciate the desk clerk's dismissive
attitude towards my difficulties, and he begrudgingly gave help it seemed. I found the hotel to be quite noisy. We could hear people talking loudly through the windows after midnight. As well, the sound of doors slamming and furniture being shifted was annoying.
I am a tourist here in the Netherlands and this was a hotel I would not recommend.
