Bolero hotel

The beds were huge and comfortable. The coffee and breakfast at the Bolero restaurant was really good. The waitress was very friendly as well. The motel is older but has a good location near the boardwalk and beach.

Take the good with the bad.

Room was modern, housekeeping could do better. Smelled clean but kept ending up with clumps of hair on things...we are blonde this was black and grey hair clumps on floor and bed. Noise was annoying from tenants not following common courtesy/hotel policies and none of that was enforced. Pool area was decent but a little chilly. Parents could stop acting like the pool and hotel staff were there to babysit their kids. I think the hotel pool attendant should be allowed to ban the parents/kids/room from pool usage if rules are not being followed and children monitored. I am sure that would cause tension but its not that hard to make your kids follow rules....mine did and I was thanked by the attendant for taking care of mine.

Birthday weekend

Are states started out with the front desk agent? Not being very friendly or helpful. We went to our room. The room was fine. It was on the outside of the hotel so it was a little chilly. It wasn't as clean as it could be. We literally had to walk outside all the way in to go to the pool. Which is you can imagine in the winter time was very cold. We ate at the blue water grill which is at the hotel.Breakfast and dinner were very good and the service was fantastic.It was an alright stay overall

Perfect getaway at the shore

So glad I chose Bolero Resort for our little getaway. Considering there were not many places open to eat and relax and dance to live music, Bolero had it all and everything was great. Our room was spacious and clean. The only problem was there were no tissues, no hangers, and no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The pool area was beautiful and the hot tubs were clean and comfortable. We will try to use the gym next time!

We normally stayed home with the kids for NYE but we wanted to do something different this year. So we had booked the Efficiency Suite. This room actually came with all pots/pan, plates and silverware. Totally worth it! Felt like home! Our kids loved it especially the indoor pool. Very nice sized gym. Staff is very friendly and quick with responses. The restaurant in the lobby was delicious. Staff did warn us about renovations happening at checkin. So we were aware. We are looking forward to booking more throughout the year. Thank you for our stay ❤️

Staff at check in were nice, the room was very dated could use an update or three. Had a 2 night stay and we were informed that there was no room service and this is after being up dated to a better room. Wonder what the down grade look like.

I was nervous about coming to stay here. And for good reason. The reviews were so mixed that I didn’t know what we were going to get. Check in was painless enough and the front desk guy seemed nice. Got to my room which was freezing but that’s fine I get it , no one’s in there. Everything seemed pretty clean, I was scared of bed bugs from other reviews but that was from years ago apparently. Cool, everything’s clean. I did find a roach trap but no roaches. I did find dead bugs that looked like rolly pollies in the tub. Fine. Nothing crazy to complain about but throughout the night I just had thing after thing where had I known it would have been like this I would have gone elsewhere. Randomly around 10p the power went out. I did read a review where this happened to someone but I thought… how often could that possibly happen?! Apparently- often. It came back on quickly but why?! Why?! Then the TEMP. it’s either too hot or too cold. The thing will NOT. TURN. OFF. I’d say for the price this place is “u get what you pay for” type deal. Give the chance I would go somewhere else. So I’ll leave it at that. I have two younger kids so I like to comfortable and not have to wake up more than I need to in the middle of the night to adjust room temp

Roach infested third grade motel not a resort. !!

This place used to be a resort may be 100 years ago. Now it's a third grade motel undergoing construction. The restaurants inside the hotel were closed. It does not disclose that online before you book.The hot tub was broken no jets were working. The heating was turned off in the pool and gym area to save money. When we returned to the room, I killed 2 roaches one by the door and one in the kitchen sink. The front desk guy was courteous, other than that it was a total dump. Avoid at all costs. Never again..!
