El hotel había cerrado por lo que nos alojaron en otro edificio, nadie nos comunicó este cambio. Hubo corte de luz, el ascensor no funcionó por un día completo y estábamos en un piso alto. El apartamento era espacioso pero tenía pequeños problemas que no eran fáciles de llevar. No tenia wifi y la puerta del baño no cerraba.

Nice hotel. A little dated. Breakfast was good and varied each day. Note that this is a review for ST Bayview as the ST Sliema was closed. We were moved without hassle although communication was poor.

Transféré dans un autre hôtel sans explication

Le jour de notre arrivée, après avoir contacté pour demande de réserver un translade de l'aéroport, j'étais prévenu que ma réservation était transféré dans un hotel voisin, pas dans le même cartier, j'étais très déçue, et je n'ai pas apprécié l'hôtel en question, car le matelas était vraiment horrible et la salle de bain devenait une "piscine" après la douche car le boxe n'était pas bien isolé, en plus j'avais demandé o Sliema une bouteille de vin et un plateau de fruit pour notre arrivée, l'hôtel de remplacement na pas étais prévenu de ma demande donc j'étais très déçu avec Sliema.

Stupendo hotel con appartamenti vista magnifica

L'hotel ha diverse strutture, tutte con vista sul mare, gli alloggi sono nuovi e moderni con vista mozzafiato sulla Valletta. Il personale è molto disponibile e professionale. La colazione a buffet è internazionale, soddisfa ogni tipo di esigenza, anche prodotti vegan, molto buona. Nella struttura principale c è una piscina all'ultimo piano all'aperto con vista eccezionale, inoltre al coperto vi è una iacuzzi, palestra. Non potevamo scegliere una struttura migliore. Da ritornarci senza dubbio.

It was about 20:00 Check-in but the staff welcomed us in. The room on top floor is little old and need some re-modeling especially on bath/shower and toilet area.(it works perfectly but it is out dated) But the large balcony was best view in town. We saw a beautiful night view and a sunrise from the Valetta. At last, the updating the elevator/lift could be a good idea for efficiency and for safety. Surrounding of the hotel is great, many restaurant options.

What we liked: Room - Well equipped and spacious Location - for Transit, Restaurants, Shopping - excellent Staff - Pleasant and responsive Christmas dinner with live music - fantastic food, excellent performer What we did not like - The bathroom, particularly the bath had mould growing between the tiles Critters - on the second night I noticed bites on me third night more bites. Do not know if it was bed bugs (did not see any) but have seen in the reviews that this has been a problem at this hotel. The Elevator - Only worked some of the time. Actually, when looking at it’s condition it was incredible it worked at all. Fire escape – the only stairway is much to narrow in case of emergency. Railing on the balcony – is very rickety and not very strong. I felt uneasy going on the very narrow balcony as a result. Conclusion - The staff do their best with a hotel that probably should be torn down and built new. However, the location is terrific, the staff were good and the breakfast was adequate. The value for money was actually pretty good.

Good hotel, with good value for money. The location is great, and the staff are friendly. The only negative feedback I have is the poor wifi, which is incredibly slow in the hotel room.

Hair in the beds, smelly toilet nothing like shown in the pictures, only could spend first night here, we have to check out next morning and spend money booking another hotel for the week 😕, no refund, just an apology, cause they know the conditions of the hotel but they're just workers.

Amazing views but a very tired hotel, needs a lot of tlc and update. Excellent location for Valletta, ferry’s and buses. A lot of noise from lifts and doors all night long. All that being said, the views from the room were worth while.

The Hotel is just yards away from various touring options, bus stops for routes going over the entire island, and the ferry which takes one over Valletta in a matter of minutes. And of course it’s close to wide selection of eateries and shopping. The breakfast buffet offered is excellent. A wide range of hot and cold items are available.

We keep coming back!

Fifth time in the same hotel, it is "our" hotel in Malta. We love the view over Sliema waterfront and Valetta on the other side of the bay. The staff is friendly and helpful, a special Thank You to Sebastian who fixed breakfast for us when we had to leave early for the airport.
