Such a beautiful place! Wonderful friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. We stayed in a stunning shepherds hut on the edge of the lake. A perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We went for one night, arrived early as you can use the facilities before check in, great for a relax and swim. We ate in the Rampsbeck restaurant, gorgeous food, would definitely recommend. Breakfast had absolutely everything you can think of, make your own waffles, croissants, granola, cooked breakfast, fresh muffins...great if you have kids that are fussy eaters like mine. No slippers provided so bring flip flops for spa/pool, not a problem we just didnt realise, we will next time. Very child and dog friendly Access to the lake couldn't be more on your doorstep! Some outdoor games available like badminton and a tree swing. We will be back, as it was honestly one of the best hotels we have stayed at.

What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. During the day the swings were occupied by children, and why wouldn’t they be, they were delightful. The self-serve breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. Enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is probably great if you have young kids and are staying in the summer. For us, a couple travelling with a dog in autumn, it was not great. The room (suite 19) was grubby, stains all over the carpet etc. Travelling 3 flights of stairs with suitcases was not great. There were not enough provisions for the weather such as coat hooks and places to remove muddy boots. With a dog, you are only allowed to eat in one zone which definitely feels set up for kids. The food was ok but not worth what we paid for it. At breakfast you had to seek service and then travel quite far with your loaded plate, etc. The good points were location, the reception staff were really helpful, and the views were nice.
