Wonderful stay. Different from hotels in I’ve stayed at in the past. Luxurious, but also welcoming.

Everything great except we were seated at restaurant 6:30 Friday night and no one came back to wait on us. No one. We got up and walked cross the street to eat chicken and waffles.

It was a great stay. The only issue my cousin had was that it was loud but that was because we were staying right under the rooftop pool and bar other than that we enjoyed our stay.

It was okay. Nothing special. The lobby has a STRONG incense odor that was unpleasant.

Uber-hip hotel in up and coming area

Canvas is on the other side of the tracks from downtown in a funky neighborhood that is up and coming. The hotel is fantastic and is very hip. I mean, how many times do you check in to see Bam Margera hanging out in the lobby? The building is truly gorgeous and the rooms are fantastic. Get one of the suites (201, 301, 401, or 501) and you are in heaven. There is a small lobby bar and a nice restaurant, along with game table and a nice lobby. The best are extremely comfortable and the decor is an urban version of mid-century modern. The staff is fantastic and the rooms well equipped. I give it a thumbs up!

Stay away if you want a quiet safe place!

Nice hotel with a great rooftop bar for social media influencers, partiers, local party goers and a horrible place to try to relax have fun or have an entire group of family and friends get together and enjoy. This place is a nightmare! No parking! No privacy from the public. Not a word from management about the issue created by way too many "social media influencers" filming everything. This could be a great place but is very poorly managed.

DISAPPOINTED IN MANAGEMENT

We recently booked two rooms for two nights with the intention of enjoying the rooftop pool and lounge during our stay. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed to find that the pool was closed from 3 to 8 PM due to a private event. This significantly impacted our experience, as access to the rooftop area was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. When we brought this issue to the attention of the manager, the only compensation offered was four drink tickets. Frankly, this gesture felt inadequate given that paying guests were denied access to a major amenity during prime hours. It's disappointing that the hotel prioritized a private party over the comfort and experience of its overnight guests. We hope the management will reconsider how such events are handled in the future and provide more appropriate communication and compensation when amenities are restricted

This is not for the mature professionals

This was the worse experience that me and my family has ever had staying in a hotel. They were loud music clean from parties in the middle of the day. We could not take a nap we had to leave our room in order to get peace and quiet. Management never addressed the issue. Our kids were not able to get in the pool due to events that they were having that required to be 21 and over.

6/10 Good

Cute but a few issues

Hotel is really cute, love the decor and industrial vibe. Staff is also super nice, and rooftop has a great pool & skyline view. Our room got very loud at night and the AC fluctuated a lot so it quickly gets very warm in the rooms. I got bit by a spider or something on our first night sleeping and they promptly offered us a new room the next day, which was very much appreciated. They advertise free parking but on weekend nights, the valet block off half of the lot so you have to find parking elsewhere unless you want to pay. Location is central but a bit sketchy. You can tell a lot of people rent the hotel to host parties. I would probably not stay here again.
