Lovely hotel but missed promised sea-view

In principle a lovely hotel (and the staff were really friendly), and in a fantastic location, but it has seen better days. Most irritating for us is that we payed extra for a sea-view, but that view was only visible from an odd corner of the room. Also irritating was that a sea-view from the sofa would be possible, but somebody built a wardrobe that stuck out into the room and hid the sea-view. Moving that wardrobe would be extremely easy and improve the room 100%! Could also remove a chair or two - the room was a good size but very crowded.

Det var trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Det var rent. Wi-fi fungerade bra. Frukosten var god. Däremot var det något lyhört, kanske för att rummet låg i anslutning till trappan som knarrade när den användes. Läget mitt i stan gjorde det lätt att ta sig runt. Ett stort plus för att jag fick en fysisk karta när jag frågade om vägen till en bra badplats. Personalen ritade till och med ut hur jag skulle gå för att lättast ta mig dit!

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold og var spesielt glade for at vi kunne ha med hunden vår. Det gjorde ferien ekstra hyggelig. Rommet var rent, romslig og hadde alt vi trengte for et komfortabelt opphold. Frokosten var veldig god med et godt utvalg, og personalet var hyggelige og imøtekommende. Hotellet er familievennlig og ga god verdi for pengene. Hotellet begynner riktignok å bli litt gammelt, og enkelte områder er noe slitte. Det hadde hatt godt av litt vedlikehold og litt ekstra omtanke. Fellesområdene, spesielt trapper og korridorer, kunne også vært rengjort litt bedre. Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde med oppholdet og kommer gjerne tilbake.

Hotellet ligger bra till om man vill ha nära till shopping och promenader i parken. Personalen hjälpte spontant till att bära väskor uppför trapporna och var glada och trevliga, (hiss finns ej). Frukosten var bra med ett utbud som man som gäst förväntar sig ska finnas. Rummet var rent med enkel standard, äldre möbler, TV på vägg. Hotellet som helhet är slitet och skulle behöva en uppdatering för att bevaras, men det har också en charm.
