The only thing this hotel has going for it is great views. Service and facilities were dismal.
My balcony had cigarette butts and matches all over the floor. I called and asked them to clean it when they cleaned my room. They cleaned up some but left others. I asked to talk to the manager and it finally got cleaned.
The fitness room felt like an oven. It was so hot and stuffy, I didn’t even work out.
The pool doesn’t look like the photos. It’s a small pool in a dark basement.
When we checked in, we weren’t told anything. Had to even ask where the elevator was.
And they didn’t tell me they were charging my credit card $900 for incidentals, instead of holding it like every other hotels does. It was credited after checkout but for anyone who pays interest on their card, or is reaching their credit limit, this could be a problem.
Lastly, the taxi the concierge arranged to pick us up to go to the airport came 20
minutes late. The man on duty didn’t seem concerned; just said, “Oh you have time.”
This Intercontinental Hotel acted like it was a 3 star hotel.
