The best thing about this property is the location. It’s less than 5 mins walk to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basillica Cistern, and Sultanahmet Tram Station. Plus there were tons of restaurants nearby. The neighborhood felt fairly safe. Our room was very clean, but a bit dated. The furniture was a little old and worn, and the walls had no decoration. However everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the bathroom seemed updated. I definitely would stay here again the next time I’m in Istanbul.

The location.of the property was excellent 5 out 5.. everything was close by walking distance. Staff were friendly and answered our every question. Breakfast was good but could have done with more of a range of food. Also when giving prices for transfers they should state that 55 euros return actually means 55 goin n another 55 comin back not 55 in total for both ways. Which is what we thought until we asked further questions.. Overall a very good hotel in the perfect location.

観光地や駅のすぐ近くなので便利です。 部屋のシャワーの力は弱く、水はけも悪いです。 空調が悪いのか、朝起きると非常に空気が乾燥しているので加湿器か空気清浄機が欲しいところです。 私達は2人とも毎朝喉が非常に痛くなり結果体調不良になりました。 町自体も清潔ではないですし近くで工事もしていたので一概にホテルが原因とは限りませんが、とにかく乾燥しています。 朝食はパン、サラダ、スクランブルエッグ、ハム等シンプルなものが多くて良かったです。 トルコ料理は全部美味しいのですが、独特風味があるので、この朝食でリフレッシュと安心感を得られます。 体調悪い時には最高に感じられます。 スタッフの対応は普通です。 日本のような丁寧な対応は期待しないでください。 拙い英語でも理解しようとしてくださいました。 ランドリーサービスありますが頼むとチェックアウト時ユーロで現金のみで請求されます。 私の時は約20ユーロで高かったです。 立地は良いので空調対策と水圧と水捌け気にならなければ良いホテルだと思います。

Istanbul Trip

Staff were amazing, always ready to help. They even offered apple tea while waiting for other people to finish checking in/out. Special mention to Burcu who helped us not only with the airport transfer, but more importantly, with the luggage transfer to another hotel for our land tour. Burcu came to our rescue when taxis and Uber rejected us. She arranged for the transport service. Hotel is close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and other sites, as well as, to stores and restaurants. It is walking distance to the Tram station. Breakfast has a good selection. We had an excellent experience during our stay at Nowy Efendi and will gladly recommend it to our friends.

The breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety and very fresh. Different options everyday. Staff very friendly and helpful with directions and instructions on using transit and sightseeing. Amazing location to walk almost everywhere and close to transit lines. Very clean rooms and common areas too. Only complaints would be it’s getting a little too warn. The furniture in room had too much damage and should be replaced. Walls had holes in wallpaper and style is outdated. Also, as Expedia VIP, no upgrades or perks were offered. With that being said, it was a fair price for what I received and way too many great things about this hotel, that I would not hesitate to stay again. Roof top restaurant for breakfast was a huge perk to the stay. Beautiful views and very clean.
