2 Night stay. Room was clean, well furnished, although there was absolutely no hot water the first night, and shower was lukewarm at best 2nd night. TV would not change channel. Biggest complaint was that front desk evidently issued my room out to another traveler the 2nd night of my stay and I woke up at midnight to someone else trying to enter the room I was staying in.

Since the roads were closed, we had to stay somewhere for the night. Motel 6 was one of the few options still available. The staff was very helpful and even though there were many people needing rooms, they honored our reservation that was made online. Thank you, Motel 6, for being there for us. And, the room was updated and clean.

The room was still dirty after having been cleaned as I waited. The water pressure in the shower was so low, one could not 'shower'; I had to sponge bath from the sink. There was a bar of soap in the shower that was opened and had been left from the previous occupant. The door to the room, although lockable, was misaligned in the frame and let in light and air. On a positive note, the heater/air conditioner worked very well.

The staff was great. The parking lot was terrible. Broken asphalt, pot holes, etc. The door i had put a lot of force into opening the door because once you onlock it the door stuck. The shower had holes in the bottom so the water leaked out and got all over the floor. I had to put our towels down to soak up the water. The fridge was duct taped together. It looks like the room hasnt been properly cleaned in a very long time. Not to mention you can see the mold in the shower.

Great hotel but awful night sleep

Very clean and friendly staff. My only complaint had to do with the extremely rude and obnoxiously loud neighbors, to the left and the right of us, plus below us. Both my fiancé and myself were abruptly woken up in the middle of the night by loud noises, yelling, and pounding on the walls like how cops would. I can’t hold that against the property though, so I’d try staying here again if circumstances allow it

There was a time when Motel Six was a reliable, clean and affordable option. That time has past, sadly for many of their locations. The Goodland, Kansas motel Six is disgusting. Our “non-smoking”room reeked of cigarettes. The beds and furniture were dusty and the shower was caked in old paint. The towels did not feel clean. There are broken camping chairs placed randomly outside some rooms, and the whole place was just run down and tired looking, including wooden stairs leading to the second floor that are in dire need of repainting and repair. Expedia should not be offering motels like this to its customers, period. Very disappointed.

Avoid this Motel 6

Traveler beware. Booked this as an inexpensive overnight option while traveling, because they are pet friendly. The first room smelled so much like cat urine that I couldn’t fully walk into the room. Our second room smelled better, but the flies were thick (INSIDE the toilet bowl and then everywhere else in the room. The ick factor was strong). While I appreciate pet-friendly hotels, I’m not sure how well this one is cleaned. I woke up with swollen eyes and hives, which is usually my reaction when around a lot of cats. Additionally, online the room selections include “kitchenette”, which we booked. When we got there, the front office staff said they don’t even have kitchenettes. We travel through here often. While I’m normally ok with a Motel 6 and find them clean and managed well, we will avoid this hotel in the future.

Office was closed and motel sign off when arrived late. When agent finally agreed to honor reservation , my request for ground floor had not been made. Room provided on ground floor had dirt on window ledge . TV remote dud not work. I was in need of a place to sleep but you get what you oay for.

Went through two different rooms before asking for money back. No television in either room. Wall unit heater broken. Floors dirty. Bedclothes dirty. Horrible place. They said they aren’t charging me and gave me a refund invoice but said Expedia has my money and I have to get it back from there instead. While I was getting my money back two other people demanded their money back as well. This place is a sh!thole. Never go there!
