Room was clean,
Coffee and tea was also avaliable and clean towels, The breakfast the following morning was fantastic a great full english cooked fresh and a lovely latte, staff were very friendly.

Stayed 2 nights whilst hiking the Ridgeway and surrounding areas - a great base for getting to the amazing surrounding areas.
The pub was very friendly with a friendly welcome and a pleasant bar. There are lots of good food options in Marlborough although I ended up eating in the pub both nights as the food was very reasonably priced and very tasty and with a good selection of beers on tap.
The room was comfortable and clean although quite dated and it was quite noisy until late as it was above the bar.
The shower worked well and there was ample supply of tea bags and milk. It was easy to leave early in the morning as there is a fire escape that can be used for out of hours exit.

The best bit about the stay was an excellent full English breakfast with superb scrambled eggs - that part gets 5 stars the rest was average other than good staff.

The bedroom was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding, the lady who cooked and served it was lovely. Staff were pleasant & friendly too.

Lovely Inn - the proper way to see Marlborough
The Inn was a cracking place to stay. The bed was comfy, room was warm and had a great shower. The Inn itself had a lovely wood burner on and the food offerings were well received by the other patrons. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent, always smiling and up for a chat. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in the area!
