DO NOT STAY at this motel, it is DANGEROUS, because of high crime and poor security. Do a Google search for crime at this location and you will see. Room 111, that we were at, had a street door that had been heavily damaged by a crowbar in an attempt at break-in. There was a 1-inch gap all around the door between the door and the jamb, so that light and noise was freely admitted, and the deadbolt barely engaged the strike plate. The refrigerator and telephone were missing, and the furniture had broken and missing knobs. We arrived at 8:00, and the lobby of the motel was like an inner-city gas station, just a counter and a HEAVY plate glass partition with a tiny pass-through. The proprietor's English was poor, and when he didn't understand, he would pretend not to hear. He seemed frightened. In the room, I was disappointed, but exhausted enough to put up with it, until we heard what sounded like gunshots next door. They were close enough to be felt as well as heard. We gathered our things and we quickly left, There were glowing reviews on Hotels dot com that I'm sure were fake, because no one could possibly have a good stay there.
