Very hospitable and handy place to stay

They communicated very clearly through whatsapp on the check-in procedure ans helped me to secure a taxi to the airport, becaus my depaeture time was outside of their shuttle service hours. I felt very warmly welcomed ans found the room to be tidy and comfortable. Will definitely visit again when flying out of pr staying in venice. The bus stop from venice city is very close!

Majapaikka siisti. Perusasiat kunnossa. Suihkun voisi vaihtaa, kun nykyisestä suuttimesta tulee liian vähän vettä. Jääkaappi puuttui. Sijainti lentokentän lähellä ja aamulennon takia varasimme tämän paikan ja hyvällä säällä mukava kävellä kentälle.

Unexpected Service for the price paid!

Stay Date: 14th–15th April 2025 We booked this hotel last minute after our original stay was cancelled. Its proximity to the airport and advertised shuttle service made it seem ideal, especially with kids. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The shuttle service only included airport pickup no drop-off—which felt misleading. The room was spacious and clean, with basic toiletries, but was also very dusty. My young son started sneezing shortly after settling in. There were no basic amenities like a kettle or tea/coffee—something even budget hotels provide. Though advertised as a bed and breakfast, no such service was offered, adding to the confusion. Rain made venturing out difficult, and things worsened the next morning. Power went out around 9am with no warning or communication. Reception casually blamed the rain and the power company, with no backup generator or concern for guests—especially families. Only one of us managed to shower before the hot water ran out, and I couldn’t even dry my hair. The lack of preparedness and hospitality was shocking. After all these they didn’t bother at least offer dropping us to airport as a courtesy amidst heavy rain and no power. Despite nice photos, the hotel didn’t meet basic expectations. I seriously question its high ratings. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location was super convenient if you need a room close to the Marco Polo Venice Airport. The bus stop is very close to the Guest House so transportation was great. The communication to check in and out was very easy. The room was clean and bathroom had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Bed was way to firm! Overall, I would recommend this place for many reasons, just not the bed!

Just what they say they are...

Exactly what they say they are...they are. Clean, comfortable room. No extras but the price reflects it. E 1.50 bus ride into Venice and walk to Venice airport. The poured concrete floor is a bit cold, bring slippers.

Very comfortable stay!

We stayed at the Bella Onda Guest House for one night and had a really comfortable and relaxed stay. The place is walkable to the Venice airport, although there is a small stretch without a side walk. The room was spacious, beds and bathrooms were very clean and the whole place looked very well kept. We also got some great Pizza from a restaurant across the street. Overall, a great place to stay if you want to be right next to the airport and get a comfortable nights sleep.

A estadia foi curta, apenas para nos prepararmos para outra viagem, mas as acomodações nos surpreenderam: quartos amplos e confortáveis, extremamente limpos, com ar condicionado e banheiro amplo. Fica a cerca de 1500 m do aeroporto, táxi de fácil acesso (cerca de 20 euros à noite). Na região não há muitos restaurantes, mas o hotel fica bem em frente a uma pizzaria “al quadrante”, que fica aberta das 07:00 às 23:00, com equipe também muito atenciosa e é possível fazer todas as refeições ali, desde o café da manhã até jantar. Também tem uma pequena farmácia próximo. Havíamos combinado um táxi na madrugada (às 04:00 h) e o motorista já estava nos esperando quando descemos.

Great spot before early flight next day.

Needed a spot to stay before an early flight the next morning. Very clean and communication was good when I mentioned the might be late to checking in. Good location with taxis and places to eat. About a 15min walk to the airport with sidewalks. Shuttle is available during certain hours. Would stay there again.

Perfect for a stay close to airport.

Very nice room in great location for the airport. Excellent instructions for check-in as well as cafe and restaurant recommendations. As our flight wasn’t until lunchtime we took a morning walk to the water (10 mins).
